Understanding divine relationship sequence.mp3 — pastor sam makanju
This message explores the three-dimensional nature of the believer's relationship with God, beginning with the foundational role of God as Savior.
the hand trills of the word giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple. There is a place where the undiluted word of God is shared. Welcome to this prophetic church, where we preach and teach the full gospel, where we demonstrate the power of the spirit to inspire, equip, and impact believers, for the fulfillments of the great commission. Come and worship with us. We are the burning ones, erars of a new dawn. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Let's see. The entrance of that word giveth light. It giveth understanding unto the simple. Let your word grant understanding unto us. Amen. Let the entrance give light unto us. Amen. That will make us run at full speed by your light. Oh, God grant us light. Amen. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus name we are praying. Amen. say, Amen. Hallelujah. Praise God. As I will be sharing the word along with us today on the assurance of our relationship with God. The assurance of our relationship with God. That's the That's the key focus. Because at a time like this, we need to be reassured over and over again that we have an anchor that keeps our soul and that is strong and steadfast behind the veil. We need to get the assurance within our hearts of who we are and the kind of relationship we share with God. So by the grace of God today, I will be sharing with us the three-dimensional relationship that everyone of us are with the Lord. But before we quickly go into that, let me quickly read the scripture with us for us. From the book of 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7 1 verse 7 For God has not given unto us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind. Amen. Amen. So the word of the Lord is giving us a description of the kind of spirit that we, that we belong to God, we have. Scripture say, if you first Corinthians 12, if I remember verse 2, he said, everyone that, uh, no one has a spirit of God called Christ accursed. Romans 8, he said, anyone that has not the spirit of Christ is not of his. So if we belong to Christ, one proof that we belong to him is that we have the spirit of Christ. Hallelujah. Praise God. That this spirit of Christ, uh, Paul now gave us the description of what, or the attribute of the spirit. He said, it's not the spirit of fear. So anytime there's an operation of a spirit that brings fear into the acts of men, it's not the spirit of God. Hallelujah. Praise God. Please, do you understand? Anytime there is an operation of a spirit amongst God's children, and that spirit is bringing fear into their hearts, that is the litmus test that is not the spirit of God. Says, "Wherefore I put you in remembrance that thou stirred up the gift of God, which is in thee, by the putting on of my hands." Verse 7, "For God has not given unto us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind." See, I found he had the spirit of power, have the spirit of power, have the spirit of love, have the spirit of sound mind. So, anytime you see the spirit of God in operation, you see power, you see love, and you see soundness of mind. No spirit operation will suspend your mind. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. It gives you what? Sound mind. Yoruba will say the only okontoh ye koro Yerica, Ara, Ara won. nitori Yoruba nla npe fuwa ni emi kuro. Ara nla lo nfuwa ni emi eru. bi kosi eti agbala bi kosi eti agbala ati inu ife ati eniyan to ko si omo ye koro. Iyen to that means that the spirit of God that you have in you gives you soundness of mind. Your mind is sound. Anyone whose mind is not sound, is not operating under the influence of the spirit of God. Anyone whose whose anytime you think the operation of the spirit in your life will always make you think outside the normal, uh, way believers should think, it's not the spirit of God. Soundness of mind. But that's not what we're going to. Today, what we want to just establish for us is that we are children of God. We are saved by the Lord and we are servants of the Most High. So today, I'll be just be sharing with us the three-dimensional relationship that we have with God. And that is not to give us an assurance that even if even if it's happening all around, you know who will come in our tears. Amen. And say who will come in our tears. Amen. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Let's go to Romans chapter 10. The first dimension of relationship, every fallen man will first share with God is as Savior, a savior. and a saved person relationship. That means every fallen man, the first thing they must see about God is they will come into relationship with God is that they must see him as a savior. Say savior. Savior. That's the first. If you have not seen him as a savior, you did not come to a relationship with him. For example, let me give you the clear picture I want to draw. My father was a teacher. Abi? He was my father. Abi? Now, as a son, or I did attend the school where my father taught. But let's just assume that when I was in my mother, my father was a teacher in my mother. He was teaching me your back teacher, Yoruba in my mother. Let's assume that. Do you know that every student will see my father as what? Teacher As a teacher. But when I'm in class with my father, I may be seeing him as a teacher, but he is first my father before he is my teacher. There's a way I I perceive him that is different from every other person. When everybody is seeing him, they will see him as Oga, teacher. Meanwhile, I'm seeing it first as Mr. Makodu, my father, before I start seeing him as my teacher. Please, do you understand? So, the moment you are entering a relationship with God, there is a step that God has created, that in which we must see God. There's an honor of perception that every believer must must have with God. What is that order? The first order is the order of God being the savior. Say savior. Savior. Savior. God is first our savior. Because if he is not your savior, he can't be the second phase of relationship to you. Romans chapter 10 Romans chapter 10 Verse Verses read from verse 9 And then we take it through verse 18. Yes. Yesu. Yes. Uh-huh. That's a video. So, the first time you are to make confession, you are to make confession unto salvation. Please, do you understand? Yes, sir. The first time you have to make confession as far as God is concerning you, because actually, this is the first step you have to take to enter with God. And this first step, which is just says, if you believe in your heart, and you confess with your mouth, that God raised you from the dead, you shall be saved. So, the first thing every man experiences with God, if they were to enter the realm with God, is that God is a savior. Say savior. Savior. Savior. So, you must not lose sight of that. Because many of us, we've lost sight of God being a savior. So much that when we are faced with many things, we don't that God has saved us. We don't need salvation again. No. God has saved us and we have been saved. Please, do you understand? God saves us. Paul said, God is the one that saves us from such a great death. He saves, he saves, God saves, He's a savior. We must not lose sight of that. He's our savior. Holubani. To Obani. He saves You must not lose sight of it. When someone is sick, you must see God as a savior from sickness. When someone is oppressed by demons, you must see God as a savior from demonic oppression, do you understand? The first relationship or the first person God appears or he reveals himself to you to be is as your savior. Say, "He's my savior." He's my savior. He's my savior. And at the time like this, when COVID-19 is walking all around, he's is catching the mighty and the high ones. One thing you must have in your heart is that you have a savior. Say, "I have a savior." I have a savior. You must not lose sight of it. Anything I should only you should very much. You must not lose sight of it. That you have a savior. You need to save your body into into a self. No. He saved you and he has he is able to keep you. Faithful is he, who has started a good work in you, for he is able to what? To perfect it, to finish it. God who has started the work of salvation in you, he is able to keep it. He's able to perfect it. He's able to perfect it. God is not a God that saves men to kill them. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Do you understand? He doesn't save men to kill them. He saves men to save them. We must not lose sight of that. He is our savior. Holy. Toh wa ti bu ro orun omo kinni to wa sokale fun obani. Yeah. O bani. O ni isu koto e mi ko. O ni isu koto e mi ko. Emi ko she ti agbala. Ati ti nfe. Ati ti ko. Iye to that means that the spirit of God that you have in you, gives you soundness of mind. Your mind is sound. Anyone whose mind is not sound, is not operating under the influence of the spirit of God. Anyone whose whose anytime you think the operation of the spirit in your life, we always make you think outside the normal, uh, way believers should think, it's not the spirit of God. soundness of mind.
