4Ps - Pastor Sam Makanju — PASTOR SAM MAkANJU
The end turns of the word giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple. There is a place where the undiluted word of God is shared. Welcome to this prophetic church where we preach and teach the full gospel, where we demonstrate the power of the Spirit to inspire, equip, and impact believers for the fulfillments of the great commission. Come and worship with us. We are the burning ones, erars of the new dawn. What You say I will do <singing> <singing> <singing> <singing> <singing> <singing> </singing> </singing> </singing> </singing> </singing> </singing> <singing> Where You </singing> lead, I will go. <singing> </singing> What You say I will do <singing> Oh, where You lead I will go. Where You lead I will go. <singing> Oh, where </singing> you lead I will go. Just lead me. Just lead me. Just lead me. <singing> Oh, </singing> what You say I will do <singing> </singing> Where You lead I will go. <singing> Thank </singing> You, Father. In Jesus' mighty name, <singing> we </singing> are praying. Amen. Father, we thank You. <singing> Because </singing> Your word reads forever. <singing> Scripture </singing> says the Lord gives His word. <singing> Great is the company </singing> of the that publish it. Father, <singing> as we publish </singing> Your word in this meeting this morning, <singing> we ask, </singing> oh God, that Your presence will be made this meeting great. <singing> Amen. </singing> In the name of Jesus, <singing> I </singing> ask that this word will bring edification to every soul in this meeting. <singing> In the name </singing> of Jesus, You will be glorified. <singing> Thank You, </singing> Father. In Jesus' mighty name, we are praying. <singing> Amen. </singing> Pray you see that the angels are going to greet people and greet them happy Sunday. God bless you. It's nice to see your face. <applause> </applause> Happy Sunday. God bless you. It's nice to see your face. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. <cheering> Blessed </cheering> be the name of God, His holy presence. Amen. I want to welcome everyone of us to this wonderful time of worship. In the morning, we continued our teaching on after salvation, what next? In our life class, what next after salvation? And we look at the concept of <gasp> the </gasp> kingdom family planting of a believer in the kingdom family by God. We looked at Psalm 68 verse 6. Scripture says, "God places the solitary in families." We looked at the fact that God is our Father, and He has delegated the authority of fatherhood to the pastors. And a pastor as a father has two primary responsibilities. Their responsibility is to feed the people of God and to cover them, take cover. So, when you are to choose a local assembly, you look out for this two things. One, am I being fed in this place? Two, am I being spiritually covered in this place? Those are the two things that a correct believer, a believer who is really who is really serious with his growth, who is actually growing, look out for. You don't look out for Is that the church my father or my mother attend? Is that the church that is there at my place? Is that the church that at one point it so exceeded, that's not what matters. What actually matters is that is there a father figure representing God in that place who is sent to feed you and to cover you? Hallelujah. And I said cover in the sense, spirit, that look, there is no attack permitted to come over a believer who is committed to a local assembly without the pastor having a light amount of. Have you ever seen a shepherd who is serious about his sheep? A wolf, whenever it gets into the flock of the sheep without knowing about the shepherd, is it possible? In fact, the idea is that every sheep that is attacked by the wolf, the wolf must approach the shepherd to get the sheep. You remember the story of David? He said, "I was tending the sheep of my father, and a bear, a cave around to destroy them." He said, "I caught the bear and his beard and I told him into pieces." So, that means if you are planted in a local assembly, your security from the evil one is guaranteed. Hallelujah. <applause> </applause> If you are planted in a correct local assembly, your security from the evil one is what? Guaranteed. And your feeding spiritually that is growing you is what? Guaranteed. So, we look at that this morning, that God plants a man in a correct local assembly. We are by extensions fathers. We looked at the Ephesians chapter 3. Scripture told us that the families on earth and in heaven is named after God. And the family there is not referring to the biological family, is referring to the spiritual family. We made a revelation though this morning also, that when a believer dies, what actually happens is that the believer just change address and go to the heavenly family. Because there's a family of believer in heaven. Hallelujah. <applause> And </applause> you know when it joins them, the Bible called them the cloud of witnesses. They are looking at us. They are is the family up there, but there's a family down here. So, they are looking at the family down here, and they are hailing us to ensure that we finish the <applause> race. </applause> Amen. <applause> </applause> We are dining with the saints. We are dining with the spirits of just men, <applause> made </applause> perfect. Just men, men who have been justified, and they've been made perfect. We are dining with them, their spirits. Amen. Amen. They just when they come to the church desiring, they just want to partake. You know, they've been there for a long time, partaking with him. They want to they want to enjoy that fellowship again. So, if there's something we must cherish, it is the gathering of the believer. Hebrews chapter 10 verses 24 and 25. Do not forsake the assembling of one another, <applause> as the custom </applause> of some is. The gathering of believers in the local assembly is very important to a spiritual growth of a correct believer. Amen. <applause> Amen. </applause> By the way, I just want to establish that for those who are not around so that you just just have a summary of what you've got in class. By the way, we got today we're going to continue on the series we started um two weeks or three weeks ago. I think three weeks ago I started um Pastor told us last week, people that were still around that he did, he just emphasized what I emphasized. He didn't go the process. So, today we'll be talking about the process. Uh we're looking at the there's a topic, the pressing, the process, the platform, and the purpose of a man in Christ. It's a long topic. So, I call it four piece. Four piece of a man in Christ. Four piece of a man in Christ. And the P represents uh pressing the the process, the platform, and the purpose. The pressing, the process, the platform, and the purpose. I'll say it again. The pressing, the process, the platform, and the purpose. Now, if if you all remember that on Sunday, or two weeks ago, we made it known for everyone of us to know that a believer is the only person that can fulfill <cheering> purpose. </cheering> Because actually, God's purpose, though eternal in concept, was truncated <cheering> </cheering> in the life of the first Adam, which Hebrews 5:12 told us that the first Adam was a figure. Say, figure. <cheering> Figure. </cheering> And when you say something is a figure, that means it's not the real thing. It's a figure of that which is to come. Now, the devil act you know God always have a better plan than <cheering> them. </cheering> So, when the devil attacked Adam and Eve in the garden and they fell, the devil thought he had won. He didn't know actually that God has something up his sleeve. So, God released the last Adam, which is the original. <laughter> <giggle> <snicker> <chuckle> </laughter> </giggle> </snicker> </chuckle> Amen. Amen. And when the last Adam, the original came, the devil also tried to attack him, remember? And when he attacked him, the scripture told us, he tempted him, but he overcame. And so the Bible told us, you know, that temptation that he went through, those words were the one that were recorded. There were many other ones. Because the Bible says he was tempted in always Hebrews chapter 4. Said he was tempted in all ways, yet he sent no <applause> knots. </applause> He was tempted in many ways. But he didn't sin. The plan of the devil is to ensure that Jesus fall short. And if Jesus can fall short, the eternal plan, the eternal purpose of God can be truncated. In fact, do you know that after the devil could not get Jesus to sin, and the devil thought killing Jesus would have solved his problem, he didn't know. Neither could he know they didn't have a foresight. He didn't have a knowledge of the resurrection plan. So, when he killed Jesus, the Bible told us in 1 Corinthians chapter 2. He said, "If the prince of this world had known, they wouldn't have killed the what? The son of glory. They would have killed the king of glory. They would have killed him." But they didn't know. So, when Jesus was on the cross, the devil thought, "Wow, I got him at last." <cheering> But </cheering> God always is always one step ahead of the devil. God had another plan. God has spoken it in Psalm 16, that I will never allow my only one to see corruption. The devil didn't know that. He didn't know that that was referring to the Messiah. So, when Jesus died on the cross, the devil thought, "Yeah, I've won the battle." But God raised him from the dead. And that was what destroyed him. Hallelujah. <applause> Praise </applause> God. That was what, look, it was the resurrection that nailed the devil finally. He knew that it's doom. He knew. <pant> </pant> So, what am I What am I saying? What I'm saying is that the Bible told us in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10 that we are God's workmanship. <applause> Look </applause> at that word, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. <sigh> </sigh> He used that word created. Amen. <applause> Amen. </applause> Amen. So, when you when you get when you get when you accept Jesus into your life, when there is a rebirth, that rebirth is a creation. Say creation. Creation. That is what what is what comes out of that creation is called a new creature. <sigh> </sigh> So, the Bible told us that if any man be in Christ, is a what? Is a new creature. You are In fact, I love <cheering> the way </cheering> You are not just human, you are human that carries divinity. Hallelujah. <applause> </applause> So, now, in Ephesians 2:1, anyone who is yet to be born again as far as God is concerned is dead. Bible says is dead in sin. And when you get born again, what happens is that you are quickened. Please can the dead man be purpose? I'm asking you now. Can the dead of you purpose? So, the point is that the purpose of God can only be fulfilled in Christ. Say in Christ. In Christ. Are you getting what I'm saying now? The purpose can only be fulfilled in Christ. A man outside Christ cannot fulfill the purpose. And you ask me, then what is this purpose? But wait, uh, whatever about Pentecost? I don't know Pentecost. But what about Pentecost? I don't know. But what about Pentecost? I have houses. They have foundations. And I think I know that foundation is no purpose. Giving to the boy is no purpose. You know, he's very sad that you guys speakers, are defined the word of God for us. God's definition of purpose is what we're going to use to define a cause. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Are you getting what I'm saying now? Let me ask you this question. <gasp> </gasp> If you are a I am. Will you say, "No, I'm the family. There's no I don't have a business with what the manufacturer has. I am called this purpose." That's not what I mean this. I want you to use this iron to eat fruit. That's what I want you to <music> do. </music> Can you do that? <applause> <cheering> </applause> </cheering> Why won't you shoot to the right? Why won't you do that? You see the lion? It's not the right for you. It's not that right. Because the manufacturer is the one that getting the purpose of the manufacturer. Not the owner. Please do you understand what I'm saying? Yes sir. Are you following what I'm saying, brothers and sisters? Because for some of us who didn't who didn't hear the first part, we have the first part. I'm not to be lazy to it so that you want to start saying purpose is only through in Christ, you understand the purpose that you are coming from. Amen. <cheering> Amen. </cheering> A man outside Christ can not be purpose. Because the purpose that we're talking about is the purpose of the creator. And the man that not be created in Christ cannot do that work. <singing> So people </singing> told us, we are created in Christ Jesus. God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto <cheering> good </cheering> work. Now, the word workmanship, the other way that the pastor said is, we are Christ, we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Now, when you hear the word workmanship, what comes to your mind? Is an art it's an artistic drawing. <gasp> </gasp> So, God was was drawing something, drawing you. <singing> He has </singing> a purpose in view. He has a purpose that this thing that is drawing will fulfill. And He said, "This things that are going on, looking at his purpose in Christ." If it's outside Christ, it cannot fulfill the purpose. In the same way, if the fish is outside water, give it time, what do you watch? It will die. <gasp> A man </gasp> outside Christ, give it time. <snort> It </snort> will die. It can't fulfill the purpose. <music> In </music> fact, people, let me tell you something. <music> Let me tell you something </music> about Adam. <cough> Adam </cough> was a blind man. Do you know that? Adam was a blind man. A blind man cannot see the purpose of his creator. <snort> So, </snort> when the devil entered him, he was blind. He couldn't see the vision of God. That's why he fell. So, when Christ comes into your life, He opens your eyes. That's why He says, <singing> "I </singing> was blind, but now I can see." <cheering> And </cheering> he can see the vision, the purpose of God. Let me tell you what the Bible says. Bible says, "Before I formed you in my womb, <cheering> I </cheering> knew you. And before you came out of the womb, I've already called you and set you apart as a prophet to the nations." That is purpose. That is a purpose. Before you were born, God has a purpose for you. And if you are not in Christ, you can never fulfill that purpose. That is why any man that is outside Christ <cheering> is </cheering> a wasted life. <cheering> Amen. </cheering> Amen. <applause> <cheering> Hallelujah. </applause> </cheering> Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Let me tell…
