Hymn xix – FATHER, Father, we bow before You | C&S English Hymnary

Father, Father, we bow before You, Father, Father, shine Your light on us, Father, Father, our hearts thirst for You Heavenly Spirit, come down among us. Give us power And joy in our spirit That we may be like the glorified ones Who praise You with golden harps before You, With Stephen in Abraham's bosom. We see the stream of Your blood flowing on, Like a glorious golden light The cleansing fountain for forgiveness of sin, That flows from the side of Jesus the Saviour. Give us power And joy in our spirit That we may be like the glorified ones Who praise You with golden harps before You, With Stephen in Abraham's bosom. Heavenly Spirit, ray of true light, Shine blessing from the east, Shine among us as on the day of Pentecost, Let Your sign appear before us. Give us power And joy in our spirit That we may be like the glorified ones Who praise You with golden harps before You, With Stephen in Abraham's bosom.
