RECALIBRATION 1 John(20:30-31) And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and that believing ye might have life through his name The reality locked up in this passage of scripture referenced above won't be visible except it is captured within the lens of Christ. Be ready minded and open up your spirit to see beyond letters and switch on your spiritual antenna in order to trap that which is revealed. In these days that are upon us the hold of religion is gonna be tearing apart and veils that has become structures and strongholds in the minds of believers would be fallen off because the light of the glorious gospel of Christ would permeate our corridors. Be ready as we begin this Journey in Christ. We see a truth clearly from the above scripture that there were realities Jesus explored that weren't scribbled. He did miracles, signs and wonders that were not captured in the Bible and in my own opinion I believe those realities were mind blowing so much so that religious minded personas wouldn't have accommodated or comprehended it even though they still did not accept all that Jesus peddled but that wouldn't negate the fact that Jesus was accurate. Our consolation lies in the fact that some were scribbled for us to pattern our lives after because our doctrine must be within the circumference of the scribbled word and in the light of Jesus' finished work. So we see verse 31 the Bible said "But these are written that ye might believe that JESUS IS THE CHRIST... Listen clearly the Bible told us the purpose of the synoptic gospel(Matthew through John). These gospels were written so that we might BELIEVE and what are we supposed to believe? That JESUS IS THE CHRIST not JESUS CHRIST. Anyone who is yet to come into this revelation of JESUS IS THE CHRIST is not a believer. Many persons knows JESUS CHRIST but not all believes JESUS IS THE CHRIST Atheists, agnostics, humanists and all manner of religious folks knows Him but do not recognize Him as being THE CHRIST. Jesus being the CHRIST means He's equal with God and therefore He's God(John 1:1). Many of these folks do not believe He's God in fact some said He's just one of the prophets while some recognizes Him as an ordinary messenger who brought a message. The word CHRIST is from the Greek word Christos which means the Anointed one and CHRIST became his office after resurrection when he had conquered and took authority over all things. We have a lot to cover but let me pause here a little for now as I'll be shedding more light on this crucial topic in my next write up and I believe you're gonna be blessed immeasurably. RECALIBRATION 2 We began a spiritual escapade yesterday with the intent of shifting our attention back to Jesus and likewise revealing our identity in Christ Jesus. I sensed strongly in the days that are upon us that there would be need for intense and accurate doctrine so that we'll not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrines so we Labour as one authorised to reveal the realities of Christ as unveiled in this season. To corroborate my point as touching believing JESUS IS THE CHRIST, I will take my coordinate from 1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believed that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Please take note that the same writer who scribbled Saint John's gospel also penned the Epistles of John( 1st, 2nd and 3rd John). He revealed to us the exact purpose why the synoptic gospel was given, so that we MIGHT believe but here we see him writing again to us that whosoever believes, it doesn't matter whether he was once a murderer or she was once a prostitute or any manner of sin you were stuck in. Whosoever means anyone from any clan, race, tribe irrespective of colour differences as long as you believe that Jesus is THE CHRIST not just Jesus Christ you're BORN OF GOD. Oh my! This is powerful, that a mortal man is born from the womb of immortality on the strength of his believe is worth shouting for. Listen clearly brethren there was nothing special you did to be born of God or rather to receive eternal life other than BELIEVING AND CONFESSING THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS THE CHRIST, from that time onward God took his permanent residence in you, you became the vessel mobilising God such that as you move God moves so when you are praying Lord come down He replies Son I'm in you. It's a pity that religious minded folks struggle with this truth, they are like the Pharisees who deprive the people from accessing the Kingdom and yet they are not going in. The moment you said yes to Jesus instantly you were born of the seed of immortality which is the incorruptible seed. Let's see 1 Peter 1:23 " Being born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, by the word of God which lives and abide forever. Prior to this experience the seed that was inserted Into you was corruptible because we were from the Adamic race and Adam was just a living soul being so everyone who modelled after him became a living soul race with corruption being the order of the day that's why you can't live without sin but at New birth the process mutated, the believer in Christ transformed from that state of being called Living Soul( corruptible) and became a life giving Spirit( incorruptible). The believer became what Jesus became at resurrection that's why Jesus didn't just die for you but he died as YOU( Romans 6:3-6), we were dead together, baptized into his death and resurrected with Him so as He is so are we (1John 4:17). This revelation truth is what open you up to your identity in Him and when you soak with these truths consistently by setting your gaze and focus on Jesus you will live an exemplary life, freed from error, the battle with sin becomes effortless when you understand your status in Christ. Do you see why we have to Labour in the word and consistent prayers in other that these realities would find a place in our heart. At New birth a believer in Christ mutated into a Godrace by Grace just as Jesus became man so that man can become God on this earth, Psalm 82:6 " I have said ye are gods and all of you are the children of the most high. If this truth becomes tattooed in you God would be easier seen in YOU than SELF. We'll take it from here in my next piece as we press further where I'll show how to come into the experiences of what is written about you. Note: Do not skip any piece so that you won't be reading out of context RECALIBRATION 3 It is expedient that the gospel of Christ takes the centre stage of every peddled doctrine, anything other than the revelation of Christ should be marginalised and that's why it's a matter of urgency in the heart of God that envoys would arise who will take up this onus and make the monarch of Zion more popular and for this course we were born to reveal the Christ and our identity in Him. We considered our new birth experience in my last post and I believe we can still press further to unlock these realities. It is pertinent to know that your admissibility into Christ afforded you the privilege of coming into oneness with the immortal and this came to bare On the premise of eternal life. The believer in Christ became eternal in scope and ontology at New birth such that the same LIFE that sustains the immortals was furnished into you, the life you received when you acknowledged Christ wasn't lesser than His at resurrection. Let's consider this scripture 1 John 5:11-12 " And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son. 12 He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. The bible specifically revealed the truth about our status at New birth, the moment we received Jesus, a kind of life came into us called the Zoe life( higher life, God's own life). God's word revealed to us that he that hath the son hath life, this means clearly to us that anyone who rejects this life is actually LIFELESS because you can only have LIFE in Christ, in fact the only Life we have is in Christ, any other reality apart from Christ is a mirage. At New birth you became a being that has never existed before that's why the bible said if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away behold all things are become New 2 Cor 5:17. The "new" in that passage in Greek means "Kainos" which means never existed before,not refurbished, a new ecosystem. You became brand new at New birth, creation never saw a being like you before, you do not have any record of sin or history, you were begotten of God. God became your father from that point, your address is God and in God there is no curse so the new man in Christ can't be cursed or curse does not run in his family called Godrace. Your DNA mutated from earthly to heavenly, from natural to supernatural, oh my! You became a superman. These truths has to be soaked in and regulate your life if you're gonna live And lead a victorious life in Christ Jesus. If you acknowledge these truths that you became at New birth then the devil won't have any legal right over you, these layers of truth are really scarce in the body today that's why we amplify the works of the devil more than the finished work of Christ, some even say the demons in Africa are more powerful than in the western world because in Africa we are very callous so you have to be battle ready, who did this to us? Where is that injunction in the Bible? Are there no enemies? There are but underneath my feet, You fight from victory(finished work of Christ ) not for victory, that guy devil is a defeated folk, he doesn't have a legal right here anymore, Jesus made a public show of him, triumphing over him in victory( Read Col 2).. Oh glory to Jesus! Say after me I walk in victory, I'm more than a conqueror, he that is in me is greater than he that is in the world, I can't be defeated because Christ lives in me. Shout Glory. How then do you walk and operate in these truths? By consistent renewal of mind By the word, declaring what God says about you and walk therein everytime. This is how you live above sin and what have you. I remember a brother sharing how he was stuck in masturbation for 6years and he prayed, fasted and all manner of things but all to no avail, I gave him a simple assignment, gather scriptures that shows you who you are in Christ Jesus for example Ephesians 2, 1st John 4:17 and meditate over it over and over again and after two weeks the feedback I got was that he was free totally.
