The Stewards Of The Mysteries Of God Part 2 — Prophet Cherub Obadare

Let nothing matter again but him in my life. Let nothing take a higher value in my life than him. That you may increase and that I may decrease. Number. I give it all. Let nothing take the highest place again. You matter the most in my life. This is the height Apostle Paul was praying that That I may know him. That I may know him and the power. This is the height where Apostle Paul was saying, "I am pressing forward, forgetting the things that are past behind." This is the height. This is the height of the pursuit. That all things but him will matter. Opening the revelation of you once again through your your children. They be found. And Jesus. Give God a big hand. Please take your seats. Celebrate the choir. Celebrate them. That was a wonderful one. From the choir the Lord will keep increasing you in the name of Jesus. Um we thank God. Uh today is the second series of the series we started last week. The stewards of the mystery of God. And by the grace of God we were able to see that mystery our hidden truth that were that were hidden. But now has been revealed onto the church. There is a scripture that keep re-echoing in my spirit, you know anytime I just think of this subject. The Bible says for Ephesians Colossians rather, chapter one. Open your Bible. Or the media should give us Colossians chapter one. And from verse 26, "even the mystery which had been hid from ages and from generation, but now is made manifest to his saints." Now is made manifest to his saints. To whom God will make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles. Which is Christ in you the hope of glory. Shout Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And so we were able to see that despite the fact that God spoke in diverse languages through the prophets. There were hidden mysteries in their prophecies, in their actions. In their demonstration. There were mysteries such that the men that prophesied were not given access to the unveiling of this mystery. And that's why Paul when writing to the Gentiles church, he said the first mystery that was hidden even before the foundation of the earth has now been revealed unto us. And so we say mystery, the mysteries of God are hidden truths that were once kept from the eyes of men, but has been revealed to the church. That's why the Bible say in Ephesians chapter 3 from verse 10. That the it pleases the Lord that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the world through the church. That principalities and powers might come to know about this mystery through the church. Many of us don't know who the church is. We are called ecclesia. The called out. We are the extension of God on earth. And that's why I by the Holy Spirit, I came up with that title, "The stewards, the custodians of the mysteries, the truths of God, the secrets of God." Psalm 25:14, says, "The secrets of God are with them that fear the Lord." David is speaking. The secrets, the mysteries of God. Now listen to me, God does not just give out or reveal his mystery. He gives to the church. Mark chapter 4 and verse 11, "for onto you, it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom, for onto you." Paul writing, he said in Ephesians chapter 3, let's go there. Very important. Ephesians chapter 3. Verse 1, "for this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles. If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you. Given me to you." Apostle Paul was precise that he was given. Even the elders of the church acknowledged Paul had access into these things. Peter speaking somewhere in the book of I think it is in the book of 1st Peter, he said "this our brother Paul, the Lord has given him such a wisdom that is difficult for a mere man to access." If you are head of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is given to to me, to your world, how that by revelation, everybody say by revelation. You don't access the mysteries of God by recitation. And that's why I have problem, you know, many of us we grew up learning how to recite. You know, you just you you you mess you everything together. Oluwa that you don't have access to mysteries by recitation. You have access by revelation. And that's why Paul emphasized that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Somebody say revelation. Yeah. He said, "And that's by revelation, he made known unto me the mystery, and that's by revelation." You don't run a ministry, you don't run a church, you don't teach a people by corporate skill. You don't build God's people using secular methodology. And that by revelation, we got access to this mystery. And that by revelation, this very interesting. He made known unto me the mystery, as at the time Paul had entered into this level of understanding. The elders of the church were still arguing if salvation is only for the Jews or for the Gentiles. The elders of the church had to call a council. When Peter came back from the house of Cornelius and they heard that the Gentiles received the Holy Ghost, they had to the Bible say and they debated on the matter. And the Bible says they could not come to a conclusion, they said, "okay, Teddy, tell the um the Gentiles that they should not eat unclean animals just like the Lord that was given to the Jews." Thank God for men like Paul. And that was why he said, "though I'm I'm the least among the apostle, but I am what I am by the grace of God." Don't settle for too less. Our generation we are we are settling for too less. There are deeper things to know. And listen, you don't know you until you know him. You don't know God until you know him. And listen to me, even the devil will be mistaken for God until Christ be revealed unto you. The Bible say, "He being the express image of God, Jesus being the express, the exact face of God." I want to challenge you, look at what Paul said. How, verse 3, "how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote afore in few words." Verse 4, "whereby when ye read, give me, I want you all to read this." The challenge with the church is that we want to walk with God in deeper dimension, but we don't want to read. Especially churches where there are several spiritual gifts. People you know you know the problem I have with many in the prophetic gift is that they think reading the Bible is secondary to manifestation of spiritual gifts. And that's why you see all kind of errors everywhere. Yes, they have the gifts, but they are not accurate because the word is not there. The gift alone doesn't give you accuracy. You can be accurately wrong. Look at it. Whereby when ye read, everybody tell your neighbour say, "when you read." How do you assess mystery? When you read. And that's why I have people I have challenge with people who say, "you know, I had a dream and I was made to see hell, and I was I saw somebody playing keyboard in heaven. And people who wore earring were asked to go into hell-fire." Listen, you didn't read. If you read, you won't see what you are saying. Go to the YouTube, you see all kind of revelation of hell. Trying to explain mysteries of God without reading. There was a man that was everywhere in the Southwest one time, preaching everywhere. He would come to a congregation of about 10 people, he would say, "God revealed to him only two people will make heaven." You know he didn't read. Whereby when you there is no way to accessing God's mystery without reading the word. That's why some of our fathers though were gifted, though were anointed. They left the play, listen to me, Paul say, "And I departed to Arabia." Why will Paul write such a level of revelation that even the pioneers of church acknowledge him, that listen to this man. He said, "And I departed unto Arabia." Departed to do what? He buried himself in study. That was why he was in his mentoring of Timothy. He says, "study to show thyself approved." A workman that needed not to be ashamed because if you don't understand these truths, you will still be exposed to reproach. You will struggle like they that are outside. Whereby when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The only way to come to this understanding is reading. Reading. And the the challenge is that we don't for those of us who are even reading, what the things we are reading are things we shouldn't read. If there is any culture that the church is poor with today in our generation is the culture of reading. The church don't read. We only look for scriptures. People call it bullet scriptures. And cram them. Listen to me. The word of God is not something you 5 minutes you observe, you just go in, you just let you scramble through, you scan through and you leave it. This is your life. Paul was writing, "I commend you to the word of God, that is able to build you up. Able to build you up the word. Which in other ages was not made known. That's why we call it mysteries. Onto the sons of men. In other ages it was hid from them. They didn't know. Isaiah said, "By his stripe we are healed." He didn't know who he was talking about. Onto us a child is born and a son is given. He didn't know. It was hid from them. But onto us it was revealed. The mystery that has been hidden from the beginning, from the foundation of the world, before the foundation of the world has now. And the question is, what is the church doing with it? When you you tap your say when you read. Yeah, I want to beg you, beloved in the Lord, if you want to be a good Christian, you must be a reading Christian. There's no way out. I I appreciate God for your life that you prophesy. It's good, because you don't read prophecy in books. Couse by the spirit. So, one of the challenges when I was growing up those days, some of young men of God, young brothers with different level of giftings, but would not read. They will not read the word of God. And as they began to grow, you begin to see the result in their life. They could not hide it. The result of the fact that they have no access to the understanding of whom God is. After something some of them were already having two, three wives based on the gifts. Malaka. Oh my God. When they call you Malaka, when you don't read, you will accept it. You have been reduced. The Bible said for their ministering spirit, sent to minister unto the saints. We are sons. We are sons. For as many who believe in him, he gave power to be sons of God. Which in other ages was not made known onto the sons of men. As it is now revealed onto his holy apostles and prophets by the spirit. It was revealed to them by the spirit and they studied. The Bible said even Jesus sat amidst doctors and lawyers of the law. He took time to study the word. Yeah. And so the access to having understanding of the mystery of God is in books. It has been written. Say after me, "it has been written." Yeah. That has been written. Praise the Lord. And so I want to encourage you, brethren, this morning. There were few things we looked at last week, we said one of the secrets that was hidden from the foundation. I I made something uh uh I said something yes, last week. I want to re-emphasize on the fact that the secret and the mysteries of God are not with angels. They are with us. Have been revealed to the saints, not to angels. And so don't consult angels for the mysteries of God. When the angel went to the house of Cornelius to announce about the salvation of God. He could not explain salvation to Cornelius. They had to wait for Peter. It was not given unto them to understand it. That God has chosen the church as his as his platform to reveal his secrets to the world. So number one, we saw we saw that it was not given unto angels, it's given unto the church. Hallelujah. The mysteries of God is not with the world, it's with us in the church. We are custodians of God's mystery. For those of us who take time to read, take time to study. God will reveal to you. Listen to me. There are books that have not been written. I'm telling you, there are sermons we have not heard. Still depths of mysteries of Christ, yet to be revealed. We thank God for men of God that God have used before us. God have revealed things to them. But God is deep in knowledge. And let's listen to me. Listen to me. There is nothing extra of God outside of Christ. All there is of God, it pleases God that all the fulness of the Godhead should be made manifest in him. One, Christ Jesus. And so, how do you come to know him? Not by vision. You don't know him by vision, you know him by study. You can see vision and be wrong in division. A woman of God said one time, she had a revelation. She was praying and all of a sudden, those of us who have elevated visions and prophecy above the world, listen to this. And in that revelation, she saw a person appeared to her like an angel and say, "Worship me." This is a woman of God. Those of us who like worship, anything that looks you worship, let's be careful. Say, "Worship me. I am your Lord, your God, and I will die for you." So in her space, she's like, "You will die for me." She said, "But Jesus has died for me." All of a sudden, the beast changed. It is truths that reveals the devil. All of a sudden, he was a mars. And she began to speak in tongue and he disappeared. If she was not informed, thoroughly informed. Listen to me, people have built ministry on this kind of revelations. They have built a whole empire of ministry on a revelation that somebody appeared to me. Said I went by the beach to pray and somebody, we don't care who appears to you. The only stick is the word. And if you are not thoroughly informed, you will carry a ministry from the devil and run with it. And she said, "But Jesus has died for me." Listen to me, you can't fake the truth. You can't fake vision. You can't fake prophecy. You can't fake the truth. The devil wanted to fake it. Said, "I will die for you." And you may say, "No. Christ has died for me." And all of a sudden, the real him showed. I want to pray for you. Your understanding of the word of God will be sharper than ever. Amen. There are many visions, some of us have bought into that have landed us in trouble. They look like, but they are not of God. I want to show you a scripture. Hebrew chapter 5, very important. I want to emphasize today on the need to stay until there is a light in your spirit. Stay in the word until there's a light. We are too quick to go out of study. That's the challenge we have. We are too quick. I want to tell you something, if there is none, if if you are not doing it, start it now. Have a Bible reading plan. Have a Bible reading plan for the year. Choose a 90-day Bible reading plan, choose 180-day, choose a have a buy listen to me, there your life cannot go more than the proportion of. You cannot go beyond the degree of revelation in you, you can't. No way out. You can be talented, yes, but it will be evidence that you don't know enough, though you are talented. You can't hide it. You can't fake it. You can't. And it's not about just talking. No about talking. See, for the kingdom of God is not in meat and drink. No. It's not, it's not, it's not about quoting Greek or Hebrew language of the Bible. Want to show you a scripture, very important. Hebrew chapter 5. Let's look at verse 12. Hebrew 5 verse 12, give it to me up here. Hebrew chapter 5 and from verse 12. Okay, let me read. Why they get it up. Okay. For when, for the time you ought to be teachers, they have need that one teach you again, which be the first principle of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, not of strong meat. I like to read this prints again. For when, for give me another version. You have another version there. Give me another version, apart from the King James. Another version of the Bible, thank you.
