The Stewards Of The Mysteries Of God — Prophet Cherub Obadare

keep, that's a steward, is a manager of something. And so, um the the the the real or the Greek word for steward, I will not want to bother you with that, but in the in the root word, you know, in the in the in the Greek, it means a ruler, a manager of a house. In other places you see a servant, a steward is a servant, somebody who is helping another person to keep his property or to manage his resources. And God has entrusted into our hands spiritual resources. 39 The Bible says for we have this treasures in earthen vessels. We are custodians of deep things. Apostle Paul speaking in Ephesians chapter 3, he said, um when you read of my of the revelation that the Lord has given to me, let's open Revelation Ephesians chapter 3 and from verse one, very important. Apostle Paul speaking of the mystery that was revealed unto him. Ephesians chapter 3 and from verse one, if I can have it up here, I will appreciate. Yeah. For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles. If ye if you had of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is given to 01:27alom, giving me to you. World verse 3. How that He made known unto me. How do men access mystery by revelation? How do men get access and understanding into mystery by revelation? How that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote unto you in few words, verse 4. Whereby when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. Shout hallelujah. And so, Apostle Paul trying to explain to the Ephesians church how he got access. He was explaining in the book of Galatians how he went to Arabia for two years, and he said, he didn't consult anyone, he was alone in study when this mystery. If you look at the entire New Testament, there was none like Apostle Paul that have access into these mysteries, none, among all the all the authors that the Lord used in the New Testament. There was no one. He had such to a point, Peter had to say, "The Lord has given this our brother a wisdom." Apostle Peter recognized that grace that this man had understanding. Peter, Paul equally speaking, he said, um, "I am the least among the apostles. I am not even worthy to be called an apostle." He said, "But I am what I am by the grace of God." And so, he was talking about the access he had. He didn't just have access to these things in the world, he had spiritual access to some things that others didn't have access into. If not for him, we won't understand the classes of gifts of the Spirit. He was the one that came in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 and began to explain to the church several things God use him to expose. I want to pray for someone here. God is taking you deeper into the knowledge of His Word in the name of Jesus. Amen. If you check the prayer of Apostle Paul for all the churches has always been prayer to have access into mysteries. When I heard of your faith in Christ and of your love among brethren, I cease not to make mention of you in my prayer giving thanks that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom, the first key to becoming a stewards of divine secrets, hidden truths, is the spirit of wisdom. That He will give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Many people are born again, but all they understand about being born again is that I confess Christ and that's all. There are deep mysteries that must be uncovered to you. And that's why you can study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It will be as though you are reading newspaper. You can cram, you can recite, you can If you are not given access, it will be as though something is covering your eyes. Many years ago, I was studying the Bible, and as I was studying, the Lord told me, He said, "Behind the brink the black prints, the black prints, there is life, there is revelation." And that's why He spoke in John 6:63, "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life." Praise God. Now, we have we have seen that a steward is a servant, a custodian, a keeper, a manager, somebody that is responsible to keep and to manage. And now, one of the reason God will commit secrets into your hand and share with you deep things is if you are a good steward. If you are able to keep, many of us, there are things, many of us started writing books, 5:29 God sharing some things with you. You are not a good steward. After some time, the flow will stop. There are things God wants to show us. He said, "What eyes have not seen, what the ears of men have not heard, what the heart have not had, the things God have for those." There are deep things. There are books that have not been written. There are many authors seated here. Yeah. There are songs we have not seen. The There are there are there are sermons that have not been preached. Because we will keep knowing until He appears. We'll keep come We'll keep revelation will keep coming to us until we see Him. I want to challenge you this morning. There is more than you know. Yeah. Don't be too satisfied. There is more in the kingdom than you think you know presently. And one of the challenges in the body of Christ is that we think we know enough. There is more. There is more. I pray the Lord will take us into this journey with deeper insight in the name of Jesus. Now, what is mystery? Mystery are dealings of God not revealed to all men. They are hidden truths, given to some people and hidden from some people. It is given to us because we are believers and because we are children of God, we are given access to the mysteries of the kingdom. And that was why He was sharing with them in the book of Mark. He said, "For unto you" And the Bible say, after the He make the parables, He called the disciples aside and began to explain to them the interpretation of the parables. Meaning, the the communications He was given was not meant for everybody. And so, the Bible say He brought them and began to interpret unto them what He was saying. And that's what the Holy Spirit is doing in our life today. Praise God. When you understand these mysteries, you don't see things the way men see it. The reason people say COVID-19 is um is God's um anger or it is God's judgment upon the world is because they they are seeing things the way media is saying it. Yeah. They are seeing it the way they want them to see it. But God communicates with us. He speak We are His children. The Bible says the secret of the Lord are with they that fear the Lord. The secret God delight in sharing secret with they that fear Him. Who are they that fear Him? The righteous. One of the delight of God is dispensing secrets to certain people. That's why in all generation, it is not everybody. The Bible say Moses knows the way. The children of Israel only knows the art. It is the delight of God to conceal a matter. And the honor of king, God delight in giving mystery to certain people. What I'm talking about is not science. This is more than science. Science can be taught in the class. You can't be taught some of these things I'm talking. You can't be taught in the class. There are mysteries. Hallelujah. Now, until the appearance of Christ, everything about God was a mystery. Everything about God, men could not explain God. Anything they can't ex they attached God to it. Because God spoke to them in symbols, in images. Some of them prophesied, they didn't know what they were saying. God spoke to them in typology. And so, in in God used some of them to dramatize what He wants to do with Christ, which is the who is the revelation of God. Somebody like Isaiah, when I read the story of Isaiah, I pity him when I how can God tell a man to marry a prostitute? He didn't know. Do you know Isaiah didn't know why he married a prostitute? The reality was that a time is coming that a bridegroom will come to marry a bride not worthy to be married, which is the church. So, Isaiah lived his life in confusion. Didn't know. The limit he was given was just to show how much God loved Israel. But beyond that, behind it is Christ and the church. That was why when Paul was explaining Ephesians chapter 5 about marriage, that it is that a husband should love his wife, as Christ loved the church. He went further. He said, "I am not even talking about marriage. I am talking about Christ 10:38 and the church." So, Isaiah lived his life in confusion. Didn't know. Listen to me, listen to me. He married this prostitute, uh if I can remember, I think her name is Gomer or so. He married her. When he married her, she went back again to prostitution. God spoke to Isaiah, he said, "Go back for her again." Now, his life was the prophecy. But we enjoy the revelation. We are custodian of the things they acted. They become our own revelation. They become the reason for our dominion on earth. So, God spoke to them in figures of speech. Isaiah said, "Unto us a child is born, and a son is given." He didn't know what he was saying. So, they they prophesied. That's why the Bible say in the book of Revelation, "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." The Bible say Balak Balaam said, "I heard in their mist the cry of a king." When Israel was settled in the valley, when they put their tents together, 12:15 he was hearing a mystery. He said, "It's It is this voice of a king," but it's a mystery unto him. Mystery. The authorized um version translate it as mystery to the 27 times. You can't see this word anywhere used in the Old Testament, especially in the King James version. It's called secret. Like I said, hidden or secret things, not obvious to understanding of men. Now, this is a system of advantage God has given to us over unbelievers. That we operate by a principle not common to men. Not common, you know, in the principle of economics or science or geography, that God has given us an advantage that we can operate by a law that everybody did not know. That we can succeed by a law, by a principle, hidden principle, given unto us to have dominion and advantage over others. And that's why when you are in business as a believer, you have an advantage over unbelievers. You don't know. I'm going to use a case study in the book of Genesis. The Bible say and he said and Laban deceived Jacob again and again. Until Jacob was given access to the mystery that apart from natural mating of animals, there's another mystery 14:02 that can make animal produce a kind and a type. Apart from the natural law that God set in Genesis, there's another law of the spirit that can produce a kind. And the Bible say, Jacob got access to this mystery. That was if the breakthrough he had in the house of Laban. How many of you are doing business like the normal way people do it? You are custodians of the principles of the kingdom. That he will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Our our one of our responsibility is to establish His kingdom by operating at a at a pedestrian, at a level that will become an abasement to our world. Some of you who are students have probably experienced this before. I have been taught what I was not taught in the class, and I passed exam. Yeah. Hallelujah. So, he didn't they are hidden for the purposes of God, the secret will of God, the secret counsel that governs God's dealing with the righteous, which are hidden from the ungodly and wicked people. So, not everybody has capacity to receive. Even if they are seeing it, they can't receive. For unto you, it has been given. You have to be given. When you see a believer operating in a level that commands result, is beyond whatever body is doing, or what the world or the the the world system of doing it. And you see, this is one of the things God has given to us to become an amazement to our world. That they will come, the Bible say in the last days, the mountains of the Lord, the mountain of the Lord shall be above all other mountains. Something, He said, and all nations will run. He didn't say they will come, they will run to the mountain of the Lord that teach us the way of the Lord. Show us 16:29 I I remember the story of Babalola, when he was still in the carrier, many years ago, as a teenager, he grew up uh you know, in an environment where they involved in farming. And so, him and his friends as a teenager, we go farming, but they discovered that when especially when they farm yam, one of the tuber of his yam, his own is as big as this thing, as this wrong. So, when he when they go harvest his own yam, men will come to carry it. I'm telling you, many of you, you see, many of you you don't read history. You don't know where you are coming from. He became an amazement in that career that how can a man plant yam? Now, when they began to set down, they discovered that the the way he planted his own is even from the way they plant their own. There are communications of the spirit. 17:39 given unto us because we are children of God. Praise God. I like us to see Ephesians I mean, yeah, Ephesians chapter 1 and from verse nine. Ephesians 1, verse nine. If you can give me up here, I will appreciate. Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He has purposed in Himself. Give you verse 10. That in the dispensation of the fullness of time, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in Him. Everybody say in Him. Amen. Now, there is no mystery outside of Christ. There's no mystery. And that's why until you are born again, you don't have access to this because they are hidden in a person and the person is Christ. Listen to me, there is no mystery of God outside of Christ. God, there is no extra knowledge of God outside of Christ. Everything that has to do with God, the Bible say it pleases Him that all the fullness of the Godhead bodily should be in a person, Christ. But you know, it can be so unfortunate that after you are born again, you still suffer as though you are not. 19:30 Solomon say, "I see a strange thing under the heaven." I see princes walking like servants. Say, "It's strange. It's an error." And the reason we are teaching this is because many of us don't know the things that have been freely given to us, the things you should enjoy. They are not prayer point. They are not things we should pray for. They are things we should enjoy. You should not pray for them. And so, there are many believers today who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior and yet are not operating in this level or in this realm that God has given unto us as children of God. Many of you may not know, you are not supposed to be poor. Because you are born again, because you are in Christ. You are not supposed to I'm not poor spiritual and physical poverty, I'm talking about the two. 20:34 Both spiritual poverty and physical you are not supposed to. The Bible say in the book of Act, He say, "And none of them lacked. There was none, the early church, none of them lacked. They operated in such a level of prosperity that every need was met. You know, but for too long we have sat around promises and prophecies." Somebody will say, "Call on Judah. 21:11 You are you are conditioning that if God if He wills, may it be well with us if God wills." 21:21 For unto you it has been given. He is not about to give. He has given. Help me, Lord. 21:35 Just trying to see, you know, how we can touch a few things before we leave this morning. Give me 1 Corinthians chapter two, chapter two from verse um from verse one. First Corinthians chapter two from verse one. And I brethren, when I came to you, we are going to read this a long um reading here. Came not with excellency of speech or wisdom, declaring unto you the testimonies of God. I was said the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Thank you. Verse three. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. Verse four. And my speech and my preaching was not in enticing words of man's wisdom, but…
