Sweet Holy Spirit, we thank you. Thank you for your love and faithfulness. Thank you for how much you have helped us. We give you all the praise. Blessed be your holy name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Give Jesus a big hand. Give him a big hand. Take your seat, please. Hallelujah. Praise God. Let's celebrate the choir for that wonderful rendition. Celebrate them, please. Celebrate the Lord in their lives. Amen. Good morning, church. I want to um welcome everyone of us in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank God for what the Lord is doing with us um you know, in the teaching of his word. I thank him for bringing us to understanding. Hallelujah. Amen. Uh, by the grace of God, we are on a series titled the Holy Spirit. And the Lord has been able to uh, by now, you know, I believe many uh of you all now have some basic understanding about the person of the Holy Spirit. We have come to see that the Holy Spirit is um a person is a person, though invisible, as you as much as you can relate with a person, you can relate with him. He is not um a kind of um an an image, you know, that one cannot relate with, or some kind of um spirit in the atmosphere. It's not like an application that people download and they on install if they don't want. The Holy Spirit is a person. And the person of the Holy Spirit is given to us, but Jesus is presently seated in you if you are born again. The Holy Spirit is right now. The Bible say, know ye not that ye are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Right now as I'm speaking, the Holy Spirit is on the inside of you. And so, the Lord open our eyes we began to see, you know, from Genesis how the Bible says, God create heaven and earth, and the Bible say the spirit of the Lord moves upon the dees of water. What was the spirit of God? That's the Holy Spirit there. The Bible says he was there moving, he was there moving on the de until God said let there be light. When God said let there be light, he switched into action. He is the chief executor of the word of God. Nothing God creates without the spirit. The Holy Spirit. And so everything God spoke into being, as God spoke them, the Holy Ghost was waiting for his word as God spoke he actualized them. Everything your eyes can see today is the creation of the Holy Ghost. Everything, everything. Look at something around you, including man. Let us create man. Who was God calling? Genesis 1 and verse 26. Let us create man in our own image. How does the Holy Spirit look like? He looks like me. Let us create man in our image. So, you know, the Holy Spirit is not a white dove. Some of you may not like that. The holy let's say, listen, John says, Behold the lamb of God, who came to take away the sin of the world. And he saw him passing after the day of baptism. He was telling people, look at that man. He is the lamb of God. He said it was the one I saw that the the Holy Ghost came upon him like a dove. He descended. It was not a dove that descended. The Holy Ghost descended the way a dove descends. Child Holy Ghost. Holy Ghost. I'm always excited when I talk about him. Amen. He's the reason why we speak at times. It looks like we know how to speak English. Oh, my God. He gives you the word, the accurate word for the hour. Have you at times you say some things you'll be wondering where they come from. One day Babara was singing and I love that song. Say oro ton jade teni ton so mommy tutiwa. I said that is my testimony. He's the one that gives of he gives us utterance. He was telling the disciples, he said you'll be brought before rulers. You'll be brought before governments. He said, don't bother about what to say. At that same moment, the Holy Ghost will strike from inside. He will speak. John 7 and verse 38, for out of you shall flow the rivers of living water, the Holy Ghost. Give me that scripture. Let me show you one or two things. I want There are a lot of things I want to share today. I'm trusting the Holy Spirit to help us with time. Give me John 7 and from verse verse 37. John chapter 7 and from verse 37, very important. John 7 37. Give it to me. Thank you. On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out. He was where many people were gathered. He just stood up. They were having a feast. The Bible said Jesus stood up. He made a shout saying, if anyone thirst Can you imagine him speaking like this? If anyone thirst, let him come and drink. They didn't understand the kind of drink he was talking about. Give me verse 38. He who believes in me as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. This is the new King James, the King James say out of his belly. Now, another version of the Bible say out of the deep, the depth of the man shall flow. Now, that's talking about your spirit. Say out of your spirit shall flow a spring of water. Do you remember that scripture in John chapter 4, where the woman um at the well was telling Jesus about um you know, he not taking coming that she would not give him water to drink. And Jesus said woman, give me water to drink. The woman said no, you are a Jew, I'm a Samaria, we have no relationship together. How can you come and drink from our well? Jacob, our father was the one that dug this well. And Jesus looked at her. He said there is a water if I give you, you will never test again. The woman didn't understand what he was saying. Say I have a water. And when I give you, you will lost thirst forever. The water is the Holy Ghost. Mmm. He does not flow from heaven. He flow from within. Hallelujah. He's he's from inside of us. When we speak there's a there's a spring of living water. What is living water? The water that quickens. Out of him, whosoever believe in him. Okay, this NLT, anyone who believes in me, may come and drink. For the scriptures declare, rivers of living water will flow from his heart. Thank you sweet Holy Spirit. You know, Jesus for the first time was a person that came in the fullness of the Holy Spirit before act of the apostle. In the Old Testament, it was a momentary manifestation where the Holy Ghost will come upon a prophet and the entire city depends on that prophet to hear God. So that's why in a city there will be prophet like Samuel. When he enters the city, people know God is about speaking. But one day, one of those prophets spoke that a day is coming, everyone will carry this spirit. In the last day, I will pour out. Everybody say pour. Mm. I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh. Many years ago, I was in Kaduna. I came very many years ago. I think Brother Shane was in that meeting over 15 years now. And we were we were we were we were praying, and the power of God came down, and I saw children slain in the Holy Ghost. There is no age to this thing. Anyone that has spirit is qualified for it. Help me Holy Spirit. You know, I was studying, and the Holy Spirit told me, he said the wisdom dimension of the Holy Ghost is what produces excellence in the life of a man. That you you have a relationship with him and you have grown in the wisdom of the spirit. The aftermath the the the the the the the the result is excellence. And what is excellence? Excellence is the quality of being outstanding and extremely good. Mmm. The quality of being outstanding and that you are extremely good. What are you doing? The expectation on your life is to be outstanding and extremely Are you in ministry? Are you in business? Whatever it is you are doing. The reason you got Holy Ghost inside of you is that you will be outstanding and extremely good. And that's why I want I want to urge brethren in the Lord, you don't have the Holy Ghost just to see vision. Somebody asks a question, and that question really touched me. Yesterday, we were talking about trance. He said, why is it that professionals, people who are probably bankers, don't go in trance for 730 days, 90 days? Only people who probably don't have any serious thing with their lives, that's why when they see somebody in white garment, they look at you that way, they say this they are unserious people, they don't have anything doing with their life. We have limited what we got to only manifestation of gifts. There's a place of wisdom in the Holy Ghost where every area of your life manifest excellence, being outstanding and extremely good. Beloved, let's be truthful to ourselves. What we are doing now, we are not good at it yet. I don't care what you are doing. There is more. There is more. And this is how the word we come to you. Listen, they will not come to you hearing tongues or you I said it before. I said when you go to a corporate organization, and you hold the hand of the manager and start speaking, he doesn't understand. What you understand is that you communicate divine wisdom even in the corporate organizations. That's what you understand. He can't he can't place, but he sees that there is something about this man. The Bible says that Joseph was made the Prime Minister because of the spirit of wisdom. Listen to me, listen to me, Daniel sat for 55 years. None of the there were about four governments in those years. None of them could put him aside. Why? The Bible says in him was the spirit of excellence, wisdom. Brethren, let's take this thing out. We have restrained the Holy Ghost too much. The Bible says, do not quench the spirit. The church have quenched. Listen, listen, we have quenched. No, quench means to resist, to limit its capacity. I wonder how those days when we were in school, people who come out with distinction in class at a bleak. It bothers me. What did we have to call ourselves? What's wrong with us? We caught the Holy Ghost. We go around the campus preaching to people that he that is in me is greater than he and your result is not showing him. What the world wants to see is not just the tongues. It's that every area of your life portrays what you say you carry. Say results. The spirit of wisdom makes you command results that the world cannot fight. Help me, Holy Spirit. Spirit of wisdom. Look at what Jesus said. He said, for the He said it was called in the synagogue one day to come read the scriptures. And the Bible says when he came, he opened the book of Isaiah 61, before doctors and lawyers of the law, and said, the spirit of did they know he was referring to him? Did they know the prophecy was for him? He said, for the spirit of the Lord is upon me. He has anointed me to preach the good tidings, to declare the acceptable year of the Lord, to comfort the afflicted, to deliver the oppressed. They didn't know it was announcing, you know, his ministry. But he started with the spirit of the Lord is upon me. Acts 10:38, as God anointed Jesus with Holy Ghost and with power. Two things I'll be teaching you this morning. Two dimensions of the Holy Ghost. Number one, say after me, demonstration of wisdom. Say it loud, say it the demonstration of wisdom. Listen, it is a limitation, an insult to his indwelling in you. If these two things are not manifesting in your life everyday. It's it's like it's like you Holy Spirit help me. It's like you graduate from Harvard University, and you fail primary school interview. Primary school, you want to be employed as a teacher, you graduate from Harvard University, one of the best universities in America, and you come to Nigeria to be a teacher in a primary school and it is said that you failed. You know we will not be able to explain how. The question we will be, did he ever enter into that university? That's the question on many of us on our life. When we do some things, the question will be like, do you mean the Holy Ghost is in him? Hey! The Bible says Stephen full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. I've in my study I've always discovered, anywhere you hear the Holy Ghost, you is either the words or two, three words after, on the next verse you see wisdom, wisdom. Either spoken or demonstrated. The Bible says when he began to speak before doctors, men with degrees in the law of Moses. They had Torah full, they had Let me tell you something, one of the things that qualifies you to be a Pharisee is that you have the entire five books of Moses crammed in your head. Every letter, that's what makes you. Now, a boy Stephen was he was a young man. He was not one of the apostle, he was supposed to be serving the tables. But one thing brought gave him an outstanding and he became extremely extremely good. Why? He had the Holy Ghost. And the Bible says when he began to speak, let me show you, let's go to the book of Acts chapter six. Let me show you this is very important. Acts chapter six, give me from verse 10. Give me verse 10. Hi, thank you, Holy Spirit. None of them could stand against the wisdom and the spirit which with which Stephen speaks, Stephen spoke. None of them could stand if you want to understand better when you get home, read from verse five. None of them can I pray for you? That no one will be able to stand against God's wisdom in your life. Amen. None of them, we are in a competitive world. Those of you in business understand what I'm saying. The time has come that no one will be able to stand before you. Amen. We are in a competitive world. Everywhere you go, there's competition between light and darkness. Everywhere, in the academic field, in the business field, in every professional field, even even in banking, you have people who have soaked themselves, some have slept inside the blood for days, and come out before a board and start speaking. So that you may not know you are in a competition, but they know. You may not know, but they know. They said, no none of them could stand against the wisdom. Now, verse 11, as soon as they saw that they could not stand, they conspired immediately. Look at verse 11, conspiracy conspiracy followed. Says, so they persuaded men to lie about Stephen, saying, we heard him blaspheme Moses and even God. That's what the world resort to when they can defeat you. They conspired. Thank you. Say after me, say the demonstration of wisdom. The demonstration of wisdom. Hello, brethren, we have seen we have seen demonstration of all kinds of gifts. That even now, if somebody stands before you and say, "Thus says the Lord," many of you don't believe again because it has been abused. Now, let me tell you something, you can't fake the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You can't fake speaking in tongues. You can't fake prophecy. You can't fake interpretations. You can't fake all that. You can't fake wisdom. If you don't know, you don't know. You can't fake wisdom. And that's why it's it's it's wisdom makes you outstanding. Even in the demonstration of the gifts of the Spirit, if you see a man who asks who is the wisdom of the Spirit, the way he talks, the way he demonstrates. And that's why I want to encourage you, don't just don't just yearn for gifts, yearn for ability to to demonstrate the gift even in wisdom. Jesus prophesied, he taught. They said, we have never heard any man talk like this. There were other teachers, but his own was different. We have never heard any man spoke like this. They were right. There have been teachers before Jesus. We have never heard any man spoke like this. What wisdom is this? What spirit is this? In whatever field you are find yourself, if they have not asked such questions, you still have a long way. What what what what level of wisdom? Outstanding and extremely good. The the you know the problem with the believers is that we are too complacent. We are we just like where we are. But we can be outstanding and extremely good.…
