THE ACTS OF THE SPIRIT YORUBA (PART 2) — Prophet Cherub Obadare

Thank you Holy Spirit. You are, I want you to lift God high. For the great grace that we have received. And the mercy that we receive. Holy Spirit, we thank you. We say, Holy Spirit, we thank you. It is you Holy Spirit. If it's not for you we are nothing. You are the one that teaches us. We thank you Holy Spirit. We thank you Holy Spirit. We give you glory. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Father, we thank you. Glory to your holy name. Inspire us. Speak your word to us. Open our understanding. In Jesus name. I am asking you to clap for Jesus. Hallelujah. And celebrate the choir too. Let's have our seats. Now quickly let me say this please. Let's be praying for Brother Dele and let's call him, he has been strong the whole week. Let's pray for him. And Mrs. Babatunde too, let's be praying for her. Her husband has been sick for some times now. And let's call them to show them love. We pray that all this people will receive their testimonies. In the name of Jesus. Last week, we started a series The acts of the spirits. And we began to look at the book of Acts as a case study. And the Lord enabled us to see that the apostles would not have been able to do anything if not for the Holy Ghost. They were so incapacitated until the Holy Ghost came. In fact Jesus himself told them, he said you will receive power when the Holy Ghost come upon you. Peter testifying, he said when as God anointed Jesus with Holy Ghost and with power. Is it the same Holy Ghost that is in you? What will you do with that Holy Ghost? Jesus went about doing good things. He was not just doing good things. He said he was healing all that were sick. And delivering all that were under the oppression of the devil. What will you do with the Holy Ghost? He went about, anywhere Jesus enter. The demons were fleeing. Celebrations were bust out. Entire city we gather. Listen, he left impact on every person that met him. Everyone that met Jesus had an impact on them. A man who had divorced like five times. They were not even our husbands. She met with Jesus. In that capacity she gathered the entire city. And handed over to Jesus. That is not another Holy Ghost, is the same Holy Ghost. The same spirit. That rose Jesus from the dead. Dwells in your mortal body. Has capacity to quicken you. Not only to shake you. But that you will shake the world. Move from shaking to shaking your environment. You are the only one shaking since we know you that you have Holy Ghost. You have not shaken anything around you. You have scattered chairs, you have not sent demons out. What will you do with the Holy Ghost? Do your hands like this? Who do you think is that power? Is the Holy Ghost. You will receive power. After the Holy Ghost is come up. God is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above that you may ask or think. That was who they were. His power in you. If you believe it say yes, let me hear you. The power is already in you. Make do with it. Release it. And listen to me, many of you have experienced what I'm talking about. Because you were pushed to the wall. When you go to the wall, you said no something must happen. And you generated results you didn't know you carry. Because you were pushed to the wall. Glory to God. The devil is ready to embarrass anyone that will not explore the power of the Holy Ghost. It rejoices when a believer is in sorrow. But when you repel it. And say never, it will happen. I can't carry the Holy Ghost and be embarrassed like this. Never. I remember the testimony of Babalo, was sharing with me. His daughter came out with first class in OAU. While she was preparing, somehow she was given scholarship, the devil wanted to kill her. Like small fever. Fellowship. All of a sudden, she fainted. He said when he grabbed her head. And started, listen to me. Listen to me. When you when the devil push you to a point. He will push back. Because you're not ready to die. But don't wait until that time. Start practicing now. Look for trouble from the devil. By laying hands on someone who is possessed. Because, a day is coming. You will need to cast out demon on emergency. But when you are used to casting it. I remember one day I was in Akungba. I was ministering like this. All of a sudden, one lady she was coming forth to come and attack me. I was used to such. Get out of here. And the lady fell flat on the floor immediately. I was not questioning the demon. Because my assignment is this signs shall follow them that believe. They will have their hands laid on the sick and they will recover. We are the only weapon God has on earth to deal with demons. Until we are, we take our position and our place. Somebody was saying this, he said everywhere is false prophets, everywhere What do we do? I say you rise. If every one of us rise, there are shops we close. They are giving people fake, you give original. Shout Hallelujah. And if you look at the book of Acts As soon as there was a rushing mighty wind The noise did not stop Everywhere, the apostles and prophets There was rattling and steering. Even in prison. The Bible says they prayed and they praises. A Holy Ghost prisoner. To be in prison and be singing, is Holy Ghost praises. I can imagine them with chains and fetters. They were supposed to be crying. The only spirit that can make you sing a joyful song in such a position. Is that last I can't hear you. The other prisoner were asking are these people mad? Say all of its all right. Come and talk to me, see all of its all right. Listen, when you carry Holy Ghost. Something happens, it will be a normal thing. You didn't hear what I just said. I prophesy over your life. Let there be happening. I don't know the preaching of my note, I think it's for someone. Alleluia. Amen. So you could look at the activities all through. The holy, I can't imagine Peter. The kind of confidence that came upon him. It's a whole, hear me, o ye men of Israel. Looking at the hour of the time. It can't be that we are drunk with the kind of wine you think. Truly we are drunk. May you be intoxicated. Oh you will hear me. Everywhere is a house. If a drunkard has gotten to a particular level, you wouldn't know the road to his house anymore. When you are drunk with the Holy Ghost, wherever you enter, you take a house for him. You take a territory for him. You break the ground for him. You are in the bus, you are preaching. Everywhere you express the fragrance of his presence. As a leader. Wa jala. A spirit now. Let me tell you let me tell you something. There's nothing wrong when you get to your office. Take three minutes to invoke his presence. You don't need to speak out loud. What are you saying? Worry. I know what I'm saying. You are building an atmosphere to arrest everything contrary. Most often, we become victims of occasions because we didn't release what we carry. We're not releasing it. Let something happen. You know we are we are too corporate for the Holy Ghost. Where are you supposed to embarrass ourselves here. Be embarrassed. They will embarrass you. Shout Hallelujah. So the acts of the spirit, they couldn't have been able to do anything without the Holy Ghost. And let me continue from where I stopped in first service. One of the assignments of the Holy Ghost is to establish the truth in your heart. Number one truth. Now, I'm going to show you in the scripture. John chapter 14 look at verse 16. I will the father. He shall give you another comforter. That he may abide with you forever. Say your neighbor say the Holy Ghost is with you forever. Say your neighbor say it doesn't matter how you are feeling. Somebody was asking Kenneth Hagin. And he can't be Kenneth Hagin. Said how do you feel? How do you feel at times? Say there are times he doesn't even feel he's a child of God. But it doesn't stop the consciousness of the fact that the Holy Ghost is there. is there with you. Verse 17. Even the spirit of truth. Whom the world cannot receive. Because it yet him not. Now, here the truth here is the truth of salvation. First Corinthians chapter 12 verse 2 for no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Ghost. That's the first truth that brings you to salvation. The day you confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. It was the activity of the Holy Ghost. It was not because the preacher knows how to preach. He only used the seed of the word and established the truth in your heart and you believed. I was not there when you were late. He is the one that make you dance without beat. There is a melody in my heart. Is the Holy Ghost that puts it there. He established the truth that Jesus is Lord and you are able to confess it. He is our partner in evangelism. It doesn't matter how many people you preach to, if the Holy Ghost does not establish the truth in their hearts, it will be an effortless attempts. Shout Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So, number one, he establishes the truth of salvation in our hearts. I was not there when Jesus was nailed, I was not there when he was resurrected, but I believe it how the Holy Ghost. Shout Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Romans chapter 8 from verse 15. Are you learning something? Romans 8:15. Give it to me. You find it in Yoruba. You can hear me read it. Go on. Verse 16. It is his holy He tells us that we are God's children. How do you know that I'm a child of God? The spirit of the Lord bears witness with my spirit. That I'm a child of God. A child of God. Yes, shout Hallelujah. He speaks to us. So, he is the Holy Ghost. Something told me, every child of God receives instruction from the Holy Ghost. Can I talk to you? By time, there's an instruction you should be running with. If in your journey as a Christian, there's no instruction per time you are running with, go back. You heard something you are not running with. At every level in your life, there's an instruction the Holy Ghost has given to you that you should run with for a season. If presently you don't know any, it's either you had forgotten it or you neglected it. There is a there's a message, there's a word for this hour for your life, for your ministry, for your It could be wait on me. Maybe I should share my own with you. Oh, it's personal, I don't need to share it. For your growth. Every season, he gives you an instruction. If you run with it, it could ask to separate yourself unto him in study. It's not that you don't study before. But that's the instruction to to make you run into the next season. There might be an instruction that fast every week, no matter what happen fast. And, you know, some people say one day vigil can stand for three days. You know, those days when we're growing up, they said, if you do vigil one day, it means you have fasted for three days. I'm here to find where it is in the Bible. And so, my question to you, What is the instruction you are running with now? Is there anything? If there's nothing you are holding like an instruction, presently, look for one. He's been talking to you, probably you are not listening. He will not hear any other thing until that one is fulfilled. The reason people say I don't hear, I don't hear, the one he told you, you have not done anything. You heard something before that you've not You did not value. What is it telling you now? Okay, hallelujah. Shout hallelujah. Some people is telling he's telling me to get married. Are you sure that's what he's telling you? So, you could be hearing yourself. Hallelujah. Amen. Because the Holy Spirit can tell you to get married. I believe there are brethren here God is speaking to you this hour. And just just believe him and go and get married. And you're asking yourself in this economy. Which economy are you expecting to sustain your own marriage? My God. He will supply all of you needs. In fact, what does it take to get married? One room, one mattress, one pot, one plate, two spoons. Shebi? Start from there. There will always be progress. Ask those of us who are married now. We may not be where we want to be. Oh, I know where we used to be. Go and check my picture when I get married. You will know the Lord is good. Praise God. Hallelujah. So, that by the way, And so, we must understand that the first truth He established in our heart is the truth of salvation. He will never have confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior if the Holy Ghost was not the one making it happen. I was trying to explain earlier that what is the truth, what the word possesses or believes to be the truth in the kingdom. It is not the truth. If you check the dictionary, many of the truth is not the kingdom many of the truth. So, what is the truth? The truth is the mind of God. That is where the truth is. All that pertains to the revelation knowledge in Christ is the truth. The whole counsel, the whole instructions, values and principles of God revealed by the Spirit, that is the truth. John chapter 8 verse 32, you will know the truth and the truth is your liberty. What science says is the truth in the kingdom may not be. And so, we are to establish the truth on earth. Now, he went further and says, John chapter 16, Somebody help me read from verse 12 or give it to me. I have I have yet many things to say unto you. You You But you cannot bear them now. Anytime you say Holy Spirit has many things for you. No, no. This is Jesus speaking to the disciples. That there are depths of revelations. There are remas. You have no capacity to contain them without the Holy Ghost. How be it, when He, When He, meaning the things I want to tell you, When He, the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth. Now, this is different from the truth of salvation. This is coming into revelation knowledge of what it means to be in the kingdom. Let me explain to you. When you got born again, the truth of salvation to believe Christ was established in your heart, it doesn't mean you have a full revelation knowledge of what has been established. So, the same Holy Ghost in your journey with Him, He will begin to explain to you what has been established. He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, That shall He speak, and He will show you things to come. This is the reason in the new creation, we don't need the law of Moses, because the Spirit, He shall guide us into all truth. We don't need the table of stones, because letter killth, the Spirit giveth life. How do I live right? Because the spirit, the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth lives in me. It's not morality that made me right. There's a spirit in you that enables you live out what has been kept in you. I want to stop lying. It's by the Holy Ghost. It doesn't matter how many psychologists help you, you will lie well. You will lie to the psychologists. You lie to them while you're counseling you. But when the Holy Ghost enables you, Maybe the Holy Ghost enables you. It is this guidance into all truth that breaks addictions. There are habits you have cried and you are like, when will these things stop? Allow him. He can help you. Hallelujah. Shout hallelujah. I come and shout hallelujah. So, the Bible says he will guide you into all truth. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine and shall show it unto you. So, one of the things the Holy Ghost will do to you, He will give you the very revelation of Jesus. He will give you an understanding from His word, He will make you see Jesus, such that everything you do will portray Jesus. I said something in first service that one of the things the Holy Ghost does to us, He cuts our excesses. As far as the demonstration of the gift of the Spirit is concerned, we all have tendency to exaggerate. We have tendency to show ourselves instead of him. Write my name, attach my name to you.
