Strength From Above - Funminiyi Oyekunle — Fuminiyi Oyekunle
This last part together, this last verse, Uh you know, there's something they call the scheme of man. And there's something that is called the power of hell. Hallelujah. What did I say? There's something called the scheme of what? Man. You see, if the devil want to destroy anybody on earth, he uses man. Do you understand? Amen. If the devil wants to pull the minister down, he uses me. Man. In fact, maybe I should tell you that even if God want to do anything on earth, he uses what? Man. Because this is earthly realm. It is men that lives here. Hallelujah. So, any spirit, no spirit can function here unless there is a man to use. Hallelujah. Are you comprehending what I'm saying this morning? Amen. So, I want you to put that in your mind that there are scheme. Evil men, scheme of evil men. Hallelujah. Can we take that that last part together? No guilt in line. No fear in death. You know, the Bible says there's no condemnation against us. Fear in death. Hallelujah. This is the power of Christ in me. I hope you are singing already. From life's first cry to final breath. To find a bright in seeing the, please little plan, running to the end. When this our days are no greater. Jesus of Christ my, my savior. You are the all in the, no skin my, and never hope. We belong in, the son of man, to see your home. Heal in the, I sing, father will take you, we give you all glory. That celebrate you for being our king, that we do our wonder. Lord Jesus, we pray at this time. And everyone is here. That you know what the world, That is the king of men. That you touch our lives, King of men. In the name of Jesus. Let's send your spirit, let's send your super. In the name of Jesus, let's send that today. Everybody that are dead has been saved. In the name of Jesus. When you pray, let's pick up holy that, peace are being in the people blessed to God. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. Nobody can tell that fire that I want this morning that you be scattered in your way. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. And together, anointing is given. Anointing for leaving, in the name of Jesus. Strength for ministry. Thank you, Jesus. That is the way of the others. That is the way of the others. That is the way of the others. That is the way of the others. That is the way of the others. God, you are amazing. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Somebody say thank you, Jesus. Father, we thank you, in Jesus name. Amen. Somebody give your hearts to Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Amen. That is a good start, just. God, just give you a situation, without doing something, it works afterly. Let's go. Stop. Let's go. Let's go. That was just an impression of my spirit. Gap conference, gap conference, gap conference. Then someone came again and said, we not have a gap conference again. That's, oh. All right, I remember now. And thank God that I said it, so all those things they were saying where confirmation of all that the Lord was saying to me. having gap conference 2020. Once again, give your heart to Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. Um, I want to quickly talk about this graph that were distributed to us and then we are able to pinpoint some things there. Uh, okay, am I I don't want to show you my own, let me flash it. Hallelujah. When I was writing it, one of our media personnel was trying to look at what I was writing. Uh, the person wanted to know my level of joy, my level of love, peace and the rest like that. But you know what? This may be your current level. The reason we are giving you this is that so that you can write it, you can see where you are lagging behind. Do you understand? Now, I know where I'm lagging behind now, on this and I know next thing to do is to what? Work on them. So, in the next 7 days, I want to hear testimony from you that you have improved. Hallelujah. You believe what I've said, shout Hallelujah. Amen. So, say I'm going to improve. My love is going to improve. I remember I was got 1010 in love, it's got 1010 in love. Wow, glory to God. I can see one hand there. Hallelujah. No problem. Love, you are coming to your house. Taking care of properties. Please, drop your phone. Hallelujah. Amen. Level of joy, how many of us have 1010? 1010, glory to God. Who, you know why I believe I should have 1010 in joy? Because, Nehemiah chapter 8 verse 10, you know what the Bible says? It says, for the joy of the law is our strength. So, the joy of the law, the joy of the law is our strength. Peace. Ah, you know what Jesus said? John 14:27. My peace, I give unto you, not as the world give it. Hallelujah. Saying this word, you may have tribulation, but be of good cheer, because I what? Overcome the world. Hallelujah. Like suffering. Like I said, it's like endurance. You endure something. You endure something. You endure something. You endure something. Gentleness, you are calm in situations. Hallelujah. Me, am I gentle? Amen. When people are silent, over your matter, be scared. Amen. I am gentle in Jesus name. Ah, goodness. Am I good? Amen. Everybody silent? Ah, glory. Faith, faith. You know, it takes it takes a man of faith to say you want to start something when God is giving you something to do. Give you a man of faith. meekness, you are meek, you have humility. You want to learn, you want to learn, you are teachable. God is saying this is what I want you to do. And that thing is even, it's not the same thing as what you have known God for. When I say that please, let me clarify it. For instance, now, we must have gap conference, and we are been doing it as come, as come, as come. And this one, we should do it as a day program. Do you understand? Do you know we could have said, we are not doing it that way. Hallelujah. Next year, God can say, do it seven days. Do you understand? You you have meek, you are ready to learn. Whosoever God says you should do, you do. Hallelujah. So, let me tell you something. When a man is meek, when you are ready to learn from God, you are ready to go according to his direction, is profitable. How do I mean by that? Now, let me let me tell you this. In uh the way that Kana, I think in John chapter 2, how many of us remember that story? When the wine get exhausted, you know what the mother of Jesus told them? He said, go and meet my son. Whatsoever thing he asks you to do, do. Now, when they came to Jesus, I believe that those servants when they came, probably were expecting Jesus to say, Jesus, give us money. Or Jesus would say, this is money, go and buy more wine. Jesus didn't ask them to buy more wine. You know what Jesus said? Jesus said, go and get six water pots. Now, if you say go and get six water pots, that gets, that sounds logical, right? It is good, have you? Because we would have been thinking maybe Jesus wanted to order other wine, maybe I said Peter and other guys, go and get wine and fill the pots. But Jesus didn't do that. Jesus said go and get water. That still sound good a little bit, because probably Jesus wanted to add Eve. You know what they call Eve now? Is it Eve or ever? Well, you add it to the water, mix it and serve it as wine and put more sugar. Amen. That thing is dangerous to your body. Stop taking much sugar. God bless you in Jesus name. Amen. Maybe Jesus wanted to do that. By the end, Jesus said, pour the water inside the cup. Ah. That's crazy. And Jesus said, go and serve that water inside the cup to the guests. Now, sir, if if it were you, if you were the one, would you do it? You're a server somewhere, or a waiter, your boss told you, put water inside the cup, go and disguise and give it to them as wine. And they went, but do you know what happened? Transformation happened to that water as they were going to serve it. That means, see, the reward of our obedience, we may not see it at the beginning of the instruction. The reward of obedience come as we obey. It comes in the process of obedience. It might not come at the inception of the instruction. Do you understand? The reward of obedience does not come at what? The inception of instructions. It comes as we obey, as we obey, as we obey, as we obey. Hallelujah. I have a feeling that many of us, God has been giving us many instructions, but we have been flouting those instructions, that capacity to obey God, to obey instructions, to be obedient to things that he says to you, is released upon you this morning, in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. Now this morning, we are going to be talking about strength from above. It's going to be our first teaching for today, and then after that we have two more teachings. Holy Spirit help us, strength from above. So, anytime we hear the word from above, in a Christian time, it's talking about the divine. Hallelujah. So, when we say strength from above, we are talking about divine strength. Hallelujah. Amen. I would like you to write many notes today this morning. And so what is divine strength? Divine strength is any strength that is of God. Now, put this in your note. It is not a supernatural, it is not a natural strength, but a supernatural one. Amen. It is not a natural strength. See, it is not your mental capacity. Now, this morning I repented from God. I said, God, I'm sorry. I've been using my mental capacity. Just just just take it over. Because I was able to discover that there are things I cannot achieve by my mental capacity. I cannot achieve them by my natural strength. Can I can achieve them by my brilliance. I can only achieve them by divine strength, the strength from above. Hallelujah. Amen. So, a supernatural strength, a supernatural strength. That's what is strength. Strength is the energy that is needed to perform various tasks. Amen. A strength is what? Energy that is needed for you to perform an activity. Strength is not just for you to start, strength is also for the sustainability. How do you know a footballer, they have strength? It's not just by starting the match, amen, it's by the sustainability during the match. Do you know something happened one day, I went somewhere and said I wanted to play ball, they were playing ball. I said I wanted to play. You see, not that there are some there are some substitutions that you will be the one to beg for it. And all that we are dribbling you. Even though they were dribbling me, do you understand? Well, you know what, I played for just I think 7 to 10 minutes, I was There was no sustainability for me for that. Actually no, I had to leave. In fact, when I left the field, I didn't know what was wrong with my body. It was as if I wanted to die. I was like water. Give me water. I didn't have that strength for it. Amen. I know some of you are making just my Hallelujah. Amen. Glory be to God. Hallelujah. And trust it. I had the strength to start it, but there was no sustainability strength. Amen. You know, many people that have started very clean, that they have scratched, why? There is no sustainability strength. There is strength to commence, there is strength to sustain. Amen. There is strength to do what? To commence, and there is strength to sustain. And God is giving us strength this morning. Amen. Now, how does strength go to a believer? For instance, how what form? What form? How does How does what form does strength comes to you as a believer? Now, for instance, strength can come as a form of angelic ministrature to you. Amen. God can strengthen you by sending the angel to you. There is something you want to do. You cannot do it, and then pump, you see an angel appear. Amen. And things are done for you. Strength can come as a form of men. Men can just come and do something for you. That is strength. Oh, okay. Hallelujah. Let's say I can even preach very well. Will I be the one to play the drums? Will I be the one to play the keyboard? Will I be the one to charge the projector? Will I be the one to record? Will I be the one to charge your venue? Am I the in this place? Am I the one who put registration of the world? Amen. And this will we leave now. And so we are going, what remains? No strength again. So strength can be your neighbor. Hallelujah. Amen. There's something you cannot do on your own. I just see that that your neighbor is the one helping you to do it. He's achieving it for you. He's achieving it for you. He's achieving it for you. Strength. Strength can come too as a form of revelation. You don't know what to do. You know revelation means actually means knowing what to do. What is revelation? Knowing what to do. Tell somebody say revelation is knowing what to do. You know what to do. Amen. Revelation, just see it, to just know this is what I have to do at this time. Many of us are like that. You don't understand the time. They know what Israel ought to do, too. Amen. Hallelujah. strength can come by divine wisdom as a form of divine wisdom. I've mentioned how many? The first one is angelic ministration. Second one is what? As men. The next one is what? Divine revelation. The next one is what? Divine wisdom. What is wisdom? Revelation is knowing what to do. Wisdom is knowing how to do it. Amen. Are there many people who know what to do? But they don't know how to start it. They don't know how to do it. Am I right? Amen. I know that was a day I knew that I needed to eat cake. I don't know how to do it. I don't know how to buy. I think I need some things. I need baking powder, and soda. Sorry, baking powder and water. Amen. You put those things together. But I didn't know how to do it. So, divine wisdom tells you what? How to do it. Revelation tells you what? What to do. This morning, I see God supplying wisdom upon your life in the name of Jesus. Remember, in the book of Exodus chapter 31, the Bible talks about Bezalel and Ahoah. Remember those two men? I love those two men very well. Something happened about them. Now, they were able to construct the tabernacle, and God taught Moses, this is what you are going to construct. So, Moses by revelation knew what to do. God needed to send a man with divine wisdom to know how to do it. So God said, "I have put my spirit upon Aholiab, and Bezalel, and other men, so that they'll be able to know how to do artistic designs, and show you revelation." But it's a way to do it. Hallelujah. Say, "I know what to do." I know what to do. I know how to do it. I know it's a perfect one. I don't want you to say it's better. I know what to do. Oh, you're not shouting. He said, "I know what to do." I know what to do. I know how to do it. I am strengthened in the name of Jesus. Strength can come by expression or the gifts of the spirit. It can come as that form. It can come in the form of expression or the gifts of the spirit. Now God has placed ministry into your hands. And I tell you, in every ministry that's going to grow, there must be an expression, or at least one, or two, or three, or four, or five, or those gifts of the spirit. You remember those gifts of the spirit? Look at Mason Olotu, you have word of wisdom, word of knowledge. You have faith, you have prophecy, you have gifts of healing, you have working of miracles. Which one of them again? I know they are nine. What? All right. Now the nine of them, if you walk in them, may I tell you, you are earth already in ministry. You are strengthened already in ministry. You know, you know sometimes, as a minister, there are payments that you don't need for the business of the programs. And that it is God that will just publicize by that expression, full expression and manifestation. They give them really. We went we went to Abuja somewhere. While on the camp, and then when some of us were trying to gather the instruments, do some things in places, and we had other of the issues with the land that we wanted to use. And so our brethren just went around for the evangelism, they saw a mad man, they prayed for him, he got healed. Immediately he got healed, that was the beginning of that crusade that day. Places where they were not giving to us, they…
