That word that is for me as it's specially caught for me. Lord, send that word to me this evening. And the Bible said he sent his word and his he all their disease. Can you cry to the Lord this evening? Send your word to me, Lord. Send your word to me, Lord. My soul pants for you, God. Let your word come for me. Let your word come for me. Let your word come for me, Jesus. Let your word come for me, Jesus. Let your word come for me, Jesus. Send your word for my sake, Lord Jesus. You are not forever. forever. Probably we have appreciate this evening. Thank you for another day in your presence. Give you all the glory. Thank you because you are here with us. Thank you because your presence is strong in this place. What you say be exalted, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Our Father, we ask, Lord, that you come towards mightly once again this evening in the name of Jesus. We pray, Lord, that no form of flesh may manifest, Lord, in the name of Jesus. We pray, Lord, that everyone may hear their own word today in the name of Jesus. Thank you because we have answered us. Take all glory, Lord Jesus. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Can we be seated? Right, can you welcome somebody beside you and tell the person welcome to presence of God. Welcome to the presence of the Lord. Can you tell the person it is good to see you once again. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Right. Um I think we want to give God all the glory. Um I want to appreciate God for what he has been doing in our midst. Thank you for how he has been faithful to us over the months. Give him all the glory. I also want to appreciate God for Um actually I was I was supposed to come out for testimony the other time, but I was not here when they were calling names and because of our time. So, I want to appreciate God basically for journey mercies over the past few weeks. Going to and fro out of Ogubra over the past few weeks, I want to appreciate God for his journey mercies, for preserving me and especially for this week that we just ended, I give God all the glory and also appreciate God for the life of everyone of us here because we are all safe and in good health. May his name be praised forever in Jesus name. May his name be praised forever in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. All right. Um I want us to take one prayer before we enter into the word of the Lord this evening. I just want us to take one prayer. Right, Amen. Okay. Um there's a reason why I want to speak this now. Also, we have an assurance of angelic ministries and as the Lord be lord over our fears. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, um Usually, uh I believe you have known me for quite a while now. Now, after that crossover service, I I was checking something online and I came across a post by a man of God I know. A prophet, actually. And was sharing a revelation he had as we were crossing to the new months, which was in line with what the Lord gives to us as an assurance for his word in this month. Now, um while I was away, I um I got the news. I mean many of us would have gotten the news as regards the house and stuff like that, and uh many of you might be thinking in your hearts that it's a major challenge, but I want to assure you it is not. Praise God. I want to assure you that it is not. We have assurance of God's help. And one of the reasons why things like that needs to come up is so that you can know that God is with you. There's no way you actually know that God is with you when you do have challenges. Amen. Amen. Amen. If you have not been in a tight position, then there's no way it will be proved that God is actually with you. I don't know if you understand that. It is when you have entered a tight position and God comes through for you that it becomes evident to you that God actually is for you. Praise God. Hallelujah. So, in case your mind has been bothered, let's not your hearts be troubled. We have the assurance of God's help. You are not disadvantaged by any circumstance, by any situation. We are not disadvantaged. Let it not strike your heart for one minute. That's why I'm in trouble. We are not in any trouble. We are not in any problem. We are not in any challenge. We are always helped by the Lord. Amen. Amen. Amen. And this month, I want you to be intentional with seeking God for help. Seeking for the help and the mercy of God over any matter. Over any matter at all. Over any matter at all. Um because of the multiplicity of witnesses to what God said to us during the crossover night, I had to come back and say this to us. Don't your energy you're doing in this month, keep asking Jesus for mercy and for his help. That is one thing I can assure you that we always come up for you this month. And I pray as you do so, the Lord will do mighty things in our lives in Jesus name. Amen. All right. Um I'll come once again, I welcome you to church. We are looking at manifesting kingdom realities. Manifesting kingdom realities. And I bless God for the testimony that um was sharing the other time. It's a good testimony and I encourage us to to seek for more of such in our midst. Amen. Amen. All right, manifesting kingdom realities, that's our thing for the month. Now for today, we'll be looking at the book of Hebrews chapter 12 from verse 12 to 29 and the book of Mark chapter 9 verse 1. Now, during the crossover service, I was explaining to us what we mean by manifesting kingdom realities, trying to paraphrase what it is all about. Now, before we go deeply into that topic, I just want us to take a look at the nature of the kingdom that we have received. Now, Mark chapter 9 verse 1, Hebrews 12, 12 to 29. I want us to read these scriptures and we'll just start by laying foundations today. Amen. All right, look of Mark chapter 9 verse 1, let's start with that book. The book of Mark chapter 9 verse 1. Please, if you have your Bible, please open to that scripture. Mark chapter 9 verse 1, as we read it together. Mark chapter 9 verse 1. Mark chapter 9 verse 1. Are we all there? If you are there, say amen. Amen. If you are not there, say amen. Amen. If you are not there, say wait for me. Wait for me. Okay. So Mark is Amen. So, the book of Mark is in the New Testament. Just Okay. Are we all there? If you are not there, say wait for me. Okay, everyone is there. All right, let's read one to go. And he said unto them, "Verily, I say unto you, that there be some of them that stand here which shall not taste of death till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power." Amen. Amen. The Lord bless the reading of his word in Jesus name. Amen. Now, I want to ask a question. How many of us have read this portion of the Bible before? Maybe not in Mark. I know the four accounts of the gospel, what we call the gospels. Every one of them has this particular story. Now, just maybe you have read it in the book of Matthew, the book of Luke, John, you have read that that phrase before in the Bible. I believe if we've come across this particular part of the Bible. And you might be wondering because Jesus said in this place that some people will not see death until they have seen the kingdom come with power. Praise God. I don't know if you've considered that text before. He said, "Jesus and he must take the war of Jesus seriously." Jesus said, "Some people will not see death until they have seen the kingdom come with power." Jesus said, "Some people will not see death until they have seen the kingdom come with power." Now. When you read this text, you should pause and ask questions. So, does that mean that some people that were alive at that time are still alive today now? Praise God. Is that what it means? Let me ask you. Uh Yes or no? Yes or no. Now, if that be the case, does it then mean that Jesus was lying? I want you to answer that question. Some of you are not sure again. Amen. Amen. Sorry. But this is how you do proper Bible study. Does that mean that what Jesus right said there is not true? He said there is not die until they see the kingdom of God come with power. Because why I'm asking this is because anytime we hear about the coming of the kingdom, especially in our time, when people go out to preach that the kingdom of God is at hand, so therefore repent. What we tell people most times is that Jesus is coming soon, you know? We equate the second coming of the Christ to the kingdom of God is coming. We make we we make the two look as the same thing. Am I correct? Praise the Lord, we preach the gospel and we say that Jesus is coming, the kingdom is coming. So, repent so that when Jesus comes, you will not be caught enough of those things. Now, if you go by that knowledge, does it then mean that this thing that Jesus said there was not true? Some of you are not sure again. The way you're looking at me. Does it mean that Jesus Christ lied? Answer that question. All right. If Jesus cannot lie, then what then is the meaning of this word that is said here? Because, if you did not lie, and those people died, then it means that those people have actually seen the kingdom of God come with power. Amen. Amen. Because, if Jesus said that they will not die until they have seen the kingdom come with power, and those people died, then it means that they have actually seen the kingdom come with power, or Jesus was lying. That has to be one of the two. Definitely. And since you are so assured that Jesus cannot lie, and I am sure that nobody believes that Jesus Christ can lie, now, if Jesus cannot lie, and what he said here is true, then we must come to the conclusion that the people here, that Jesus said would not see death until they have seen the kingdom come with power, actually saw the kingdom come with power before they died. Amen. Amen. So, when did the when did that kingdom come? When did they see the arrival of that kingdom? That should be the question that should be in our hearts. The reason why knowing this foundation is because so that we can have a proper grasp of what the kingdom of God is all about. Many times when we preach to people, we go around you know, when we do morning cry, the way we present the message, repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. Or the kingdom of God is coming soon. Is that what the kingdom of God is all about? Let us talk about the kingdom of God is coming soon. Is that what the kingdom of God is all about? Because for many people, when we hear kingdom of God, we think of the second coming of Jesus, you know? We think of the second coming of Jesus, when the world will end, when everything will be destroyed, when we go to heaven. That's the only thing that comes to our mind. And so, when we talk about manifesting kingdom realities, we are thinking about the future, about when Jesus will come again. Now, let's look at the book of Romans chapter 14 verse 17. Let's look at what Paul said. Romans chapter 14 verse 17. Paul was writing to the Romans and he said, "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost." So, if the kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, then the kingdom is not just a future event. It's a present reality. The kingdom is a present reality. Amen. Amen. So, what are we talking about when we say manifesting kingdom realities? We are talking about living out the righteousness, the peace, and the joy of the Holy Ghost in our everyday lives. We are talking about bringing the rule and reign of God into every area of our lives, into our families, into our communities, into our workplaces. We are talking about demonstrating the power of God in healing the sick, in casting out demons, in setting the captives free. This is what it means to manifest kingdom realities. It's not just something we wait for in the future; it's something we experience and manifest right now, in the present. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right. So, as we go deeper into this topic in the coming weeks, I want us to keep this in mind: that the kingdom of God is not just a future event, but it is a present reality that we are called to manifest and experience right now. May the Lord bless his word in our hearts in Jesus name. Amen. Now, however, the Jews were thinking of a political Messiah. The idea that the Jews had about the Messiah was a Messiah that will come and establish God's reign in Israel and make Israel like a special nation above every other nation that exists. They believe that the kingdom was just for Israel alone. Praise God. And I hope you know that the apostles are the mental to at the point. It took conscious effort for God to make them see that the goal the message of the gospel is not meant for the Jews alone. That it's also meant for the Gentiles. So, God has to show Peter a vision three different times telling him that kill is, just to show him that the gospel is not meant for the Jews alone. The kingdom is not meant for the Jews alone. In God's eternal plan, God has plans for every nation under the sun. Amen. So, they knew that when you said the kingdom of God is near, you are telling us that the Messiah is about to come. It is the Messiah that will come and establish the reign of God upon the face of the earth. And as the Messiah come, as the Messiah come. So, it means that if the Messiah has come, then the kingdom has come. He has come to show us the kingdom. He has come to give us the kingdom. Amen. Amen. So, Jesus will say to the disciples and say, little children, is it the desire of your father to give unto you the kingdom. It is the desire of your father to give unto you the kingdom. And you will see Jesus praying that your kingdom come, that will be done on earth as it is in heaven, because Jesus knew that it's coming was the coming of the, it was coming to establish the kingdom here on earth. The kingdom of God was about to be established, instituted on earth. Amen. And how did Jesus do that? Praise God. So, you might be asking, because if we, if we say that the kingdom of God has come, then why do you have so much trouble around the world? Why do you see have evil happening all around? Why do you have, see have battles happening all around? Now, you must understand that the Jews has the same problem. Praise God. In a sense, their idea of the Messiah was that when the Messiah comes, you know, the kingdom of God is perfect. Yes or no? The kingdom of God has no blemish. It is a perfect kingdom. The sin does not reign in the kingdom of God. Like when Jesus was saying that, let your, let your will be done on earth as it is. Now, what, what that prayer was what? That kingdom come, that will be done on earth as it is in heaven. He is praying that just as it is in heaven, just as your government is absolute in heaven, let it also come on earth. Because if you'll be frank with ourselves, there are many problems with this current world we are living in. Yes or no? We are living in a fallen world. So, if we claim that the kingdom has come, then how then did the kingdom come? Yes, there is still problems all around. Because the Jews still believe that when the kingdom come, is going to be a coming of, it's going to be a perfect kingdom. That when the Messiah comes, their idea was that when the Messiah comes, the Messiah was going to put an end to every problem, every issue, it's going to be a perfect reign. It's going to be reigning perfectly. There will be no evil, there will be no sickness, there will be, everything will be perfect. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. And they were no wrong.…
