want to look at the the relationship God had. Okay, thank you. Thank you very much. Here, oh Israel, you are to cross the Jordan today to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than you. I like you to might write it down. You are about to go to dispossess nations, greater and mightier than you. Cities great fortified up to heaven, verse two. A people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard, it said, Who can stand before the sons of Anakim? Anak. Let's go on. Know therefore this day that the Lord your God is he who goes be goes over before you as a devouring fire. He will destroy them and bring them No, stay in verse 3, please. I'm not done with verse 3. He will destroy them and bring them before you and you shall dispossess them and make them perish quickly as the Lord has promised you. Verse 4. Do not say in your mind, Listen, this is very important. This place, I'm I'm about to say, is very important. So, listen to it. Do not say in your mind and heart after the Lord your God has trust them out from heaven before you. It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land. Whereas, it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is dispossessing them before you. Let's go to verse five. Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your mind and the heart, do you go to possess their land. But because of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord your God is driving them out before you, and that he will fulfill the promise which the Lord sought to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Now, verse 6, the last verse. Know therefore that the Lord your God does not give you this good land to possess because of your righteousness. For you are a hard and stubborn people. Praise the Lord. I I trust the Holy Spirit will help us see and get an understanding from this um Scripture. Verse 1 and 2 made us see how God um spoke to the Israelites of a nation they are to possess. But, you know, the major factor of it is that what God put before them was bigger and mightier than them. And you see that pulls to me that whatever vision God gives to you, to one of the reasons you will know it is of God, it must be bigger than who you are presently. Whatever dream God is giving to you, whatever it is God is showing to you that you are going to become in life, it's going to be bigger than your present status quo. So, number one thing, go back to verse one of um Deuteronomy chapter 9. Verse 1. Deuteronomy chapter 9, verse 1. Here, oh Israel, you are to cross the Jordan to go into to dispossess a nation greater and mightier than you. Don't be afraid when God gives you a great vision, a great mission, a great dream to accomplish. The reason it is big and mightier than you was because it is coming from God. If it is to come from you, it will not be more than who you are or not be more than what you can handle. And let me tell you this, anytime God gives you a mighty or a great vision, bigger than your purse, let's start with our purse. Usually, what God is asking you to do, you you will never you will never have a ready money to handle it. And this applies to business. Many of us have um closed down, shut down dreams and businesses because of money. Why didn't you do it? I didn't have the money. Many of us would have been great entrepreneurs. Create mightily great, but you put money first. Now, look at it. What they are to possess a nation that is greater than them. Number one, they are greater than them in strength, greater than them in number, greater than them in capacity, greater than them in war strategy. In everything these nations were greater than the Israelites. But it was what God wanted for them. Since the day he told them to leave Egypt was the day he possessed this nation. But they were to go into it with an agreement that God God the nations for them. Praise God. Is there anything, any dream you have now, any vision you have now that is bigger than what you can handle? That is what God wants you to get. Hallelujah. Come on, praise the Lord. He says, cities great and fortified up to the heavens. And so, the visions, the dreams, the pursuit, the missions God will be bringing your way are things bigger than your at times your intelligence. They are bigger than your certificates, they are bigger than your your your family background where you came from. They are bigger than the things you ever taught you could ever get in life. They are bigger than them. That's why God showed them to you himself. Most often, when God wants to speak to you about mighty things, he communicate to you directly. And it now depends on you to believe and subscribe into what God is saying. Now, when God gave them this vision, certain spies were sent in to say, "Okay, what God has said, let's go and confirm." The Bible says, "When they went, there were 12 that were sent to represent Israel." I'm sure they had to represent the 12 tribes. 12 were sent. And when they were sent in, they came back with a report. And the report was that it is true according to what God said, they are greater than us. One, they confirm what God said. Please follow. And they did not, the Bible says, they were actually giants according Did God not say it before? He said, they were giants. They were giants. And two people saw something different. They said, truly these people are giants, their cities the walls of your cities very high. And they the two were um Joshua and Caleb. Now, because of the fact that they disbelieve what God said, that they were to possess the nation, it was the reason they were they went back into the wilderness for 40 years. God said, because you disbelieve me, I have I I brought you out of Egypt, I held you in bondage for centuries, I make you cross the Red Sea and yet you disbelieve me. Those people said they are we are like grasshoppers. Now, how do you see yourself compared to the vision God has given you? How do you see yourself compared to the dream? They say we are like grasshoppers before them. Say, these nations will kill us. And that was what annoyed God. God said, now, since you are like grasshoppers, grasshoppers are always in the wilderness. Go back to the wilderness. The Bible say they went to the wilderness. Did God feed them? He fed them for those 40 years. Now, 40 years was for 40 years of disobedience. God kept feeding it. He fed them until the nation would until all the people who didn't believe him were were were they all died one after the other. The only two people that saw the land were were the people that believed what God showed them from inception. Now, let me tell you this. Greatness in life is not a function of you have a dream or not. It's a function of how did you see the dream? One. Number two, how did you see yourself? The most important number three, how did you see the God that give you the vision? When Mr. Abati was praying, he quoted the scripture Mark 10:27. With God, all things are possible. How many things? All things. Many of us are where we are because of how we are seeing God. How we see ourselves? We see what God is showing us bigger than us and bigger than God that even that give it to us. Is there anything you ought to start? You want to start building a house. The Bible say if God did not build the house, the builders are building step tap your neighbor say step out in faith. Yeah. You want to start a business? Just start and trust God. Don't wait for all the money to come. God said you are going to have a supermarket, believe it go and start with the kiosk. Now, you you will never have a supermarket if you don't start somewhere. And say, "How will I get the money? Do you know what it costs to start a supermarket? God, where will I get the money?" Now listen, do you know what you are saying? You are telling the creator of heaven and earth that he does not have capacity to sponsor what he is showing you. And so, I I want to I want to I want to drive you today. There are many of us who have dreams that we had, but now they have become nightmare. There are visions you have written, it got to a point. Some of us have tore the the pages of those visions in our diary. It does not look like a vision again. It is now a vision impossible. And so, go and possess that thing bigger than you. Because the person who gave you what was bigger than you is bigger than the vision and you. And so, when you don't see God in it, you see yourself and your purse, you will never go You will never do anything. I will start. When? You know, in this kind of economy, in this kind The person who spoke to you has his own economy. They say, "We are like grasshoppers before these people." They will kill us. Two people saw differently. Now, look at verse two. Give me verse two. Daniel now. And people great and tall and the source of Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, 'Who can stand?' There's a news about them already. People are failed before these people. People have went into war with them and they conquered. There's a news about them. God explained to them. Now, give me verse three. Verse three, please. Know therefore this day that the Lord your God is he who goes before who goes over before you as a devouring fire. Now, all the people that went into Israel, I mean into to check some of these nations, forgot this part. They forgot this part that it is God that led them. The Bible say the sea saw and fled. The Bible say um um um Jordan was driven back. God brought them all of that. Now, he now go to this point. Now, some of us, if you remember, or you recall how God has been moving with you, how far God has brought you, there will there will be nothing in life that will scare you again. Yeah. For someone like me, I've been through issues in life. There is nothing again in life. I've been I've escaped death several times. God have done things in my life that I, you know, I knew if it were money, money couldn't not have gotten it for me. So, always recall how far God has brought you and where he's taking you. I am the Lord. Know therefore this day that the Lord your God is is he who goes over before you as a devouring fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you. You shall possess them and make them perish quickly as the Lord has promised you. Ta said, "Go possess it." Yeah, possess it. Possess that business. Go and buy that land. Go and start that building. Go and start that project. You want to write a book, go and start it. You want to you want to go to the studio to produce an album, go and start. Who is possessing it for you? God. So, stop looking at what is not relevant. Your account balance is when it has to do between you and God, your account balance doesn't make any meaning. Doesn't make sense? So, it's you know, you are you are looking at you know the the the the the money in your account. And you know, this is the reason people go quickly to borrow. You don't borrow to go and sponsor God's vision. The Bible say the cattles on a thousand hills belongs to him. Silver and gold is mine. People quick quickly go to borrow because they don't believe there's a sponsor behind their vision. I pray for you. Your ability to trust God in all situation will increase. If you're a the loudest amen. Amen. So, pursue the vision. Go into it. Believe it. Believe the one that gave you the vision and believe in yourself. And when you believe in yourself, you believe in God and you believe in the vision. There is no witch on earth that can stop you. No devil on earth. Have you ever thought of it how an unbeliever? How many of us have seen um the documentary of Dubai? How Dubai was built from scratch. This man wasn't a believer. They built Dubai from scratch. Dubai is now the center of attraction of the whole world. You have the Holy Spirit within you. You have the presence of God. You have the one that built heaven and earth resides in you. And yet, we still disbelieve him. Proverbs 23:7 verse 7 says, "As a man thinketh in his heart. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." I want to push you and tell you that the remaining days in the year is still you know, a good time for you to do something. Write business proposals. Write you know uh um uh you know, write budgets bigger than what you are and the Lord will sponsor it. If you believe say a louder amen. Amen. I say if you believe say a louder amen. Amen. Now, let me tell you something that God has given you a dream doesn't mean doesn't mean obstacles will not come. The reason obstacles will come is because it is God giving you. And don't always run back when obstacle comes. Many of us have we have heard messages that prompted us to start some things. But as soon as obstacle comes, say no, if it is God showing me, there will not be obstacle. Hello. If it is God showing you, is the reason there will be obstacles. If there's no obstacle, turn back. Don't do it. It might be a trap the devil is setting for you. If you are if there if God has given you a vision, the reason there will be obstacles is because it is God. How will you know it is God helping you to conquer if there's no obstacle? Take a a leap of faith and surmount those obstacle. That obstacle will not come is a lie. There's a testimony of someone here in our church that I encourage and I was sharing with my wife, I said, do you know this person by now we still have been looking for job if he did not have not taken a leap of faith. But today, he's the one employing people. He will still we still be praying. He will still be submitting CVs. We say we know God says he's going to do it. You know, I I I encourage him. I said, just just start. Was there obstacle? There was obstacle. There were days there was no food. But the vision was still intact. The fact that there was no money doesn't mean it is not God that gave the vision. See, one of the things I really want God to do with our church is that we have more employers than employees. If I say amen, let me hear the loudest. Amen. Amen. It should gone at those days that unbelievers will be telling you to do on on godly things so that they can give you a job. And so, you can you can just be courageous enough. Listen to me, you want to go and start working as a teacher is a good thing, but you can start a school. Oh, Lord, did you hear that? You would be like, "School is bigger than me. I am a teacher." Listen to me. Listen to me. There is nothing big that does not start somewhere. Ah, you say eh. Eh, no more katawa. Eh, when you eh, no more bintunwo. Ebo Ebo ni bintunwo. Oh, my God. Where are you? Where you are entering is bigger than where they are entering. Who you are seeing is bigger than what they are seeing. The Bible say the righteous run the Bible say the house of the Lord is a is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and is what? Is safe. Ah, I mean, is the reason today unbelievers are the one leading us? Can you imagine that pastors are the one killing the visions of people who want to go into politics? God, somebody has a vision. I say, "God told me that I'm going to be a president." I'm going to give you an instance. Then, I was still I used to shuttle between and. And um somebody gave me his vision and told me that God told him to go into politics. I didn't want to mention him, somebody close to me. And he had that vision that he wanted to go In fact, they gave him a slot. And so, I told him the Lord said go ahead. He will back it. Another person told him that the only way he should go ahead is to be ready to join Ugoni. Now, it is the reason it is the only they are filled everywhere. Because God's people are not believing in God's vision. And when you think this thing is bigger than you, God will only use the available. Somebody we have to lead a nation. So, as dark as evil as they are, God will have to allow them be because the people that should do can not and will not. It is the they are we are like…
