FRAILTY _ JEFAL X ELE — JEFAL X ELE
I stand out here in the open, holding to heart all that is of earth, contrary to heaven. What I want fights what I need. What will nurture is different from what I feed. I expect a bountiful of harvest, but that's contrary to what I invest. I will think that this will be garbagin, garbage out. Laying my hands on the plow, but the plow no want fall under anointing. What kind of anointing? Nothing responds to stimulus. But in school, that was what they taught us. They told us his love bought us. So are we supposed to be free to do us? My will against his will. What house of representative passed this bill? This was not a deal. I thought I was stamped with an eternal seal. So like Jack and Jill, I found myself crashing. Even the king's men could not do a humpty dumpty patching. Fragments of my old self, weak, dwarf, imaginary friends and elf. But he keeps calling in between twin towers like the Lord of the Rings ending. It's a game of thrones, light against darkness, my flesh against the sons. What a glorious crown, yet made of thorns. Thorns so sharp, piercing through my muscles and my thick skull. Yet, another fall. Oh no, I just did it again. I thought I was born again. Who really am I? Where is the light? Why so frail? I thought I was on bail. I thought it meant we were free to sail and from my eyes will fall the scale. Yet again, I rely on my strength until the weight of this world had me bent. Sometimes, I assume I am Clark Kent, forgetting that there was one that was sent. It all happened in a flash. My frailty right before my eyes. Will I pick myself from this trash? Or will I seek the recycler who paid the price? What are we? We are frailty bounded by humanity, headed for eternity. Should we still hold on to vanity?
