Hallelujah. I just feel like just worshipping all through. How many of you feel like I'm feeling? Hallelujah. Praise God. It is a sweet thing. Do you know, I love worship more than preaching. That's why I hardly preach and not worship. I love it more because because it's what we are going to do in eternity. Yeah, we will live our life worshipping. Amen. If it's sweet like this on earth, how will it look like when we get to heaven? We are not going to be there doing it for one million years. You are going to be doing it. I was telling my wife lately, I said, "Do you know the meaning of eternity?" You're going to be forever in the class of God, where where deaths has been suspended, terminated. Hallelujah. And so this is this is a foretaste of the glory. A foretaste. You don't even remember you are going through trouble again when you are soaked in His presence in worship. Praise God. I want to welcome every one of us this morning. And I want to announce something this morning to tell you that God has begun something in this church. Um, I want uh Brother Tola and Sister Vic to come out. This wonderful people will be getting married very soon. Hallelujah. Kehinde won't marry this one. Because they are coming to our class. Face the church. Very soon we'll let you know the date, but it's just by the corner. And so start getting prepared as individuals, and I desire that the choir sing that. I could just imagine the way you are singing. You sing on their wedding that day. Hallelujah. So, these two wonderful people have been engaged for for some times, and the church is aware. So they are going to be making it very official soonest. I just like you to stretch your hand. If it is tongue you can speak, speak in its prayer. Just just stretch your hand towards them. Invest something in them right now. Tekushikaninaka vadi suprateila Kasi, tell, declare that there will not be a fail in the date that has been appointed for this wedding. In Jesus name we pray. Congratulations. We declare this morning that everyone trusting God for this kind of blessing, the Lord will perfect yours. The Lord will bring speed into your life. Is a good thing to marry early. You grow with your children. Today, if I stand with my father, people ask me they come to our house and say, "Let me tell your senior brother." Because we green together. Hallelujah. God will grant you that grace. I'm so excited this morning, so, so excited, you know. I'm enjoying the presence of God. And um, I'll continue from where we started last week. We've been on a series now, a call onto holiness. And the Lord has spoken His mind to us for the next 10 years, from 2020 onward, what is going to be doing, and the Lord is preparing our hearts as a church for what is going to be doing. And the Lord is saying, "Consecrate yourself for me." And um, we started um last week by looking at another I will call it like a sub heading of what we started, remaining focus, keeping focus on God, keeping focus, keeping focus on God. And um, we find out that there are many who start the year with all kind of decisions for their spiritual growth and development. And we understand that there is nothing like the gift of spiritual growth. There is nothing like, "I have received the gift," or "the anointing." It's a process. There's no child that is born and the pastor lay hands on him and the child grows immediately. The child we have to go through the process of growth, a develop developmental stages of growth before he attains maturity. And this is the the reason we are teaching this is because this is not some kind of anointing that can be impacted on you. It's a life you must live. It's a kind it's not a kind of gift you can just receive. It's a it's a stage you must have to go through. And so, spiritual growth is key for a believer. So, many of us have a lot of distractions. We we have a lot of things distracting us from keeping focus. And and we understand that when we keep focus on God, um, we we tend to reflect who He is. The more you see a thing, the more you become of it. As I was studying during the week, the Lord put it on my heart. He said, "What whatever you don't get into does not get into you." Whatever you don't get into does not get into you. Meaning, whatever you focus on, consistently consumes you. Whatever you keep focus, you keep attention, you are deliberate, you are intentional, you keep focus on on on it consumes you, it gets into you, and you are consumed by it. I pray that this year you'll get to a point where you'll be consumed by God. Amen. I say God will consume you. <singing> <music> Amen. </singing> </music> You will live inside of Him. He will live inside of you. And so we began to see last week, uh, keeping focus on God is essential. It's a decision. It does not happen accidentally. It doesn't happen by chance. Having a consistent commitment to spiritual affair, to God. And we began to see things that distract people. And we see we say even ministry can distract you from God. Even ministry. Like it is the thing of God. I am ministering for God. God is saying, "No, minister minister to me." You know, those days when I go about preaching has been I've been preaching all around since when I was a teenager, I got distracted by ministry from God. And so you can be consumed with ministry. You'll be like, I'm still doing the things of God, but you are not doing it to Him. You are doing it for Him. Now, there are different kind of ministration. There's ministration to God. There's ministration for God. God prioritized ministration to Him than ministration for Him. Because, if you have not ministered to Him, what will you minister for Him? That's why when it gets to a point in our life, we are drained of Him because you have consistently talked about Him and you have not gone to Him. We are drained. You are talking and it's like they they you are shouting, nobody is hearing you. Something is missing. Focus. Say focus. Come on, talk to me. Say focus. And one thing I see that the devil will fight anyone who wants to be focus on God. The devil will not fight you if you if you are not serious with God. The devil does not have too much attention on you when he knows that even with God, you are not serious. He doesn't want to fight you because he knows you have been defeated. He will not fight you because you you you you you you already have lost focus. How do you fight somebody who already does not know where he is going? So he's already been fought and defeated. But if I mean any man who makes decision and say, "I'm going to be focused on God," the devil will put all kind of distractions on you. The Bible says, "As he was going to Jerusalem, what a distraction!" <singing> <music> What a </singing> </music> distraction. The Bible says a city will not allow him go. Do you think it was just the city? The devil influenced the leadership of that. Don't allow him go. He was going to for to to have an appointment with destiny. They will not allow him go. The disciples equally distracted him. They said, "Let's call fire and burn these people." He said, "You don't know the kind of spirit that is in you." Men took out their clothes, placed it on the floor for him. It did not distract him. The praises of men is a distraction. <singing> <music> We're soon </singing> </music> so distracted. Yesterday, Anna, I and my wife, we're watching a cartoon. You know, we all watch cartoon with our children, know. We're watching a cartoon of um where Saul was being praised after he conquered um King Agag. Singles, listen to me. Why are you so emphatic about who you marry? Why? Because you can be distracted the rest of your life if you miss them the right person for you.
